Dale (Original Mix)

This is a different approach to my other Kobre version. It explores some minimal tech house - acid textures, and at the same time keeps it simple. Is a less crowed than "Kobre (is Tatrip Mix)" but without forgetting to make it danceable. Hope you enjoy it.

Kobre (Burned Wire Mix)

This is the first version-mix of the "Kobre" tracks. This one is more techno-minimal-progressive oriented. It has an interesting driving bass and hypnotic feel that keeps evolving through the length of the track. Also It has a characteristic dark atmoshphere while keeps dancefloor friendly.  Hope you enjoy.

Kobre (Is Tatrip Mix)

AGUILERA – “Waiting for Joya”. Es un tema en el que sintetiza mi búsqueda constante del equilibrio entre lo diferentes géneros que más disfruto de la música electrónica dance como son el Deep House, Tech House y Minimal. Todo el proyecto se realizó en REASON para las etapas de arreglos y diseño sonoro,  finalmente la mezcla en Nuendo. Utilizando la mayor cantidad posible de capas para procurar tener un sonido más original desde el bombo hasta el sinte principal. Todos los samples utilizados son de licencia libre. Experimentando con un acercamiento un poco más acústico, más impreciso, más “de banda” tanto  en la selección de samples, como en el diseño y estructura para refrescar un poco los oídos con la sobrecarga de “glitch” que experimentaba  en los últimos años.  El tema rompe ligeramente la estructura monótona característica del género sin dejar de ser efectiva  en el dancefloor. Con un groovy dirty bass para llevar el ritmo, un riff de sinte que se filtra y se abre para definir la estructura y etiquetar la marca del track, sweet chill pads para las transiciones que le dan una atmósfera calmada al pero que en el breakdown demuestra su hambre de explosión. Perfecta para un set en el momento de presionar el switch y generar el torque en el público. Finalmente recurriendo a samples vocales con una mezcla de "Spanglish" que de cierta manera reflejan estos tiempos globalizados y el coloquio de nuestra generación, tratando de dramatizar una inconformidad con el sonido o con un “gritito” y dejando saber al público que con un intento más, estamos listos, estamos JOYA. 

Waiting for Joya

[ aguilera. ] Started his passion for music from a very young performer for some years with guitars, and then entered squarely on Music Technology and DJ-wave, after receiving the vibe contagious in "Montanita" that was the motivating switch to start his career. Regarded as one of the forerunners of the electronic scene in Cuenca (Ecuador), being the first DJ to take the initiative to experiment with more underground sounds inside House, such as Progressive and Tribal (2003). In this manner, he established the starting point to join the proposal DJ's like: Pancho Piedra, David Ordoñez and Jorge Game, building the foundations of electronic culture in the city. Along with Jorge Game, formed the first cuencan duo of DJ's, better known as OZONO; with various presentations that were within the city, getting a positive response from the people, that gradually enters electronic culture. Among its most important presentations, sharing the DJ booth with great national exponents as Pancho Piedra, David Ordóñez, Felipe Toral and Diego Pérez. He has also participated in gigs like "TRIPY TRIPY HALLOWEEN", the "RADIOFEST in Tomebamba 102.1 and DJ'S GLOBAL UNITY NIGHTS 2005 and 2006 in Guayaquil. He was part of events with international exponents as Nuclius, Asaad Sacin, Christian Berger and Willy San Juan.  As true lover of all the beat circuits, he has studied Music Technology, and built his own DJ Midi Controller. Today, at Buenos Aires - Argentina, he devotes his time mainly to the production of electronic music, audio and recording studies. His Dj Sets groove around minimal, tech house, techno and progressive.
