Each show excels at their storytelling sets and their carefully crafted, elegant sound, they never fail to submerse the listeners in a beautifully progressive, melodic, organic deep-house trance. Built on years of experience and respected for staying true to his sound, DJ Joma has managed to create a musical-realm of his own. Each weekly show is filled with exquisite melodies and harmonising vocals, equally suited to night time clubbing as they are for sunrise or sunset sets.

Mix number 12. A personal milestone and a checkpoint to look back at and be proud of. Creating a mix for me is a weird process. I consume the tracks over months and even years, put them in playlists and imagine what kind of ride I can take us on. There’s tracks that fit better towards the start of a mix, and there’s tracks that sound better towards the end. Everything in between is improv magic for me. I know what sort of order I want to go in, but I never systematically know exactly what order they’re going to be played. Sometimes I get up and I know I’m going to bang one out to my best ability. Sometimes I get to minute 35 or 50 and just turn off the cdj’s. It’s a fun and psychotic way of always wanting to put my best foot forward and illustrate sounds that will please all our ears. 

This mix goes out to the homie Pandazos. One thing I’ve noticed and love about pandazos is that he brings excitement to anything. He’s just one of those guys that radiates excitement, even for the most mundane things. He doesn’t even try. We can be out shopping for different types of rice to cook, and it will be exciting. The way his big curls bounce up and down, the way his bulky body walks through the market aisles lol.. he’s just a fun ass dude that I’ve known my whole adolescence to now, but have only recently grown a more tighter brotherhood. That’s the gift I appreciate from Pandazos. The excitement. Also, the guy is an artist in the kitchen. He cooked me breakfast, lunch, dinner and MIDNIGHT SNACKS for 7 days straight. I would have starved in the Costa Rican jungles without him. He makes beautiful somethings out of literally nothing in the kitchen. This mix is a little more minimal driven, like how he likes em, but I still add my little flavor of what I love from that genre.

Blending the deep and progressive house styles, Arisen is giving his listeners an experience that brings strong emotional impact.

With a history of 13 years in the industry, he performed alongside resounding names such as Guy J, Markus Schulz, Cid INC, Brian Cid and in 2017 was invited to his first appearance in the studio of Ibiza Global Radio.

His other appearances include Kristal Glam Club, Studio Martin, the Roman Arenas and Kudos Beach, all reference locations in the Romanian clubbing scene.

2021 begins with an invitation to record an exclusive mix for Cafe de Anatolia label, which reaches more than 85.000 views on Youtube.

2022 finds Arisen in Tenerife for Fun In The Sun Festival alongside many other DJ's from around the world.

After reaching the 100th release on Akbal Music we have the pleasure to introduce the debut EP by Cani from Zombies in Miami duo, releasing in labels like Bedrock, Kompakt, Comeme,  and Correspondant and playing for mind blowing festivals like Fusion, Burning Man just to name a few, with this project he delivered 2 original cuts and his sound craft is focused on a darker path with lush melodic synthesisers, trippie delays and simple yet very groovy drum ensembles.   On the remix duties we have the honour to welcome Sebastian Voigt with releases on My Favorite Robot and Visionquest delivers a very groovy remix that has some traces of Berlin´s Techno sound. Regular Akbal Music brothers Balcazar & Sordo stay on the darker Techno path too but add their own personal touches to create a very interesting interpretation of the original.

An artist who epitomises the modern underground dance industry, Michael A is as gifted as is he is affable. Returning to Proton Music for fourth original EP in the space of twelve months, it is a genuine honour to welcome him back to the label with "Aura Tears".

From the central-southern city of Mazyr, rich in natural resources, Mikhail Akulich has mined from a rich seam of talent through his Michael A moniker. One of his country's most exciting talents, the Belarusian producer continues to find himself at the vanguard of the underground scene with his distinctive blend of "progressive house and techno". A prolific artist, some 650 production credits sit proudly next to the Michael A name; a profound achievement given a commercial debut with a clutch of original releases for Sterofaza and Fluro Music in mid-2012.

Since then a panoply of original and remix production material has been within the catalogues of some of the finest modern independent imprints, not least in the February 2017 "Micrologica" EP for Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat plus work for Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital and Cid Inc.'s Replug. Further original work for Mango Alley has also seen a high-profile remix from Australian icon, Jamie Stevens, while Akulich has also founded his own Genesis Music imprint to great effect and a regular vehicle for his production work. Hitting the Particles catalogues in late 2013, 2014's "Behind The Moon" was a notable highlight, as was March 2017's "Sapphire". Hitting Proton Music at the same time, a trio of original EPs have been spread across 2017 with "Bright Hope", "Symbol" and "My Style" all worthy of appearance on the flagship label. Now, Michael A returns to Proton with another original offering in the shape of "Aura Tears".

The title track is a beautifully sculpted piece that blossoms into a pulsating and driving anthem that is a perfect example of modern underground progressive house. Richly textured, floating pads and shining melody reveal themselves fully in the stripped breakdown before reaching a crescendo in the third movement, while a glorious bassline progression adds genuine purpose and interest in a work of great skill.

Revelling in similar melodic themes to its predecessor, "Ciklus One" is founded upon a strong rhythmic framework that supplies dancefloor interest in off-beat percussive cadence. Simultaneously a deep bass groove sparks low-end electricity while intelligent spacing within the mix and across the stereo spectrum highlights technique and mature production craft.

The final track continues the melodic tropes of earlier work as textured pads and shimmering motifs emerge over the seven-minute journey that coruscates brilliantly at the mid-point breakdown. Binding rhythm and melody together with bassline glue, a sublime groove keeps dynamism high accompanied by deep kick and ticking percussion.

Three new tracks find tears of joy rooted in Michael A's aura.
