“Vontade” é o EP de estreia do DJ e produtor musical DARK BUDA, projeto de João Pedro Santana, direto de Cosmópolis, interior de São Paulo, Brasil. Sua inspiração para a confecção desse material veio através de seus estudos sobre ocultismo, mais precisamente a Thelema, filosofia fundamentada por Aleister Crowley através do contato de Aiwass, seu anjo guardião, para com ele no intuito de transmitir a Lei que rege o atual Æon de Hórus. Através do uso de synths, batidas tribais e elementos psicodélicos, o artista trouxe uma atmosfera característica de seu projeto, fluindo da introspecção à euforia, sempre procurando manter suas referências baseadas na sua experiência enquanto atabaqueiro.

Quatro faixas formam o EP, sendo elas: “Tamborzão Futurista” possui samples de Funk, gênero musical que foi de suma importância na formação da identidade do artista, junto de percussões variadas e atmosfera eufórica; “Hit It”, sua faixa de estreia, possui uma bateria 4x4, típica de Dembow, com synths e elementos que ecoam dentro da sua caixa craniana, tendo como referência faixas do duo estadunidense INVT; “Ronda Noturna”, que interpreta o caminhar sob a luz do luar, com ameaças iminentes caracterizadas pela atmosfera sombria, sirenes de polícia e agressividade; para finalizar, “Weirddim” é uma faixa de velocidade lenta, graves densos e ares sombrios que reflete as últimas pesquisas de DARK BUDA, tendo como inspiração artistas como Piezo, Jurango e Sylvere.

A Vontade leva aquele que crê na única Lei até lugares inimagináveis, desde que ele pratique fielmente no Amor sob a Vontade. 93, 93/93.

rom the vibrant music scenes of Argentina and Montreal, Jaijiu and SIM join forces to release their highly anticipated single "AYOYE" on Terminal.

Jaijiu, the producer's favorite producer, hails from Argentina and the depths of Soundcloud. Influenced by the sounds of Argentine clubs, Jaijiu reimagines folklore with a powerful energy. His explorations of Latin American rhythms and percussion create baile-core tools that ignite dance floors and keep everyone moving. He has worked closely with colleagues in Buenos Aires to develop a new sound that is rapidly spreading across other hemispheres.

On the other hand, SIM pushes the limits of Sound System Music from Montreal, gaining worldwide recognition. Drawing inspiration from the Dub and Dancehall theories of legends like Lee 'Scratch' Perry and King Tubby, as well as the innovation of Techno pioneers like Plastikman and Jeff Mills, SIM delves into the interplay between space, body, and sound. Since his notable release 'Pu$$ycat' in 2018, SIM has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, expanding his work and reaching new heights.

Additionally, the release will feature an exclusive remix by Con Secuencias, a Mexico-born, Montreal-based sound artist known for his work on immersive platforms and his ability to blend pre-Hispanic Mesoamerican sounds with cumbia, tribal, UK Bass, and footwork. His remix brings an additional unique dimension to this release, offering hybrid tools for the dance floor.

"AYOYE" is a powerful fusion of cultural and musical influences. This Québécois word expresses both pain and astonishment, encapsulating the intensity and surprise of this new single.

'Rubí' is the first single from the upcoming EP by DJ JUANNY - full release out on the 27th of September via Basy Tropikalne

DJ JUANNY (@dj_juanny) is a San Francisco-based artist with Honduran-Salvadoran roots whose passion for music developed when he encountered the endeavors of top Bay Area DJs who would show up at the esteemed streetwear shop where he used to work - a journey that has taken him all the way to producing a string of successful releases (including a very well-received EP via influential Mexican label NAAFI and a vinyl 7'' on NO BIAS), founding a netlabel/party series AMOR DIGITAL or becoming a close collaborator of La Favi.

This upward trajectory continues with a brand new EP on Basy Tropikalne which might as well see DJ JUANNY at his most diverse yet. The release ranges from the spatial dancehall ('Windrush') to sped-up reggaeton ('Rubí') via bass-y dembow of 'Yojoa' and hints of guaracha in 'Agony + Ecstacy', all that filled with references to movies, telenovelas and anime, whereas the title track brings an experimental ambience reminiscent of Lechuga Zafiro from his early Salviatek days (just listen to those frog croaks!).

Fastly, the heavy bass of funk was felt on Megatron speakers, mixed with the very machinery sounds. São Paulo's new generation funk mcs took over the name and called it Megatron
