UNDESIRABLE N°. 1

Alyssa Gyorkos is a dance artist based in Chicago. She began her dance journey in 2003 in Rockford, Illinois, training and competing with Forest Hills Dance Company and Evolve Dance Company. Her first love was Jazz, and from there she broadened her training into Modern, Hip Hop, Ballet, and Tap. Upon entering high school, Alyssa engaged deeply with the theatre department, choreographing and playing the role of Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde (2012). After high school, Gyorkos moved to Chicago, where she performed and trained with several salsa and hip hop teams at UIC. She now attends Columbia College Chicago as a dance major and is an active member in the all-female crew So Swift. Alyssa believes dance is a means of self-actualization, authentic expression, connection, and uniting our communities.
