The duo HAFT @haftmusik returns to Univack with “Paper Tiger / Magenta”, a two-track EP that reaffirms their command over the contemporary Progressive House scene. With a blend of organic warmth, hypnotic grooves, and meticulous production, this release captures the emotional and sophisticated essence that defines both the artists and the label.

Opening the EP, “Paper Tiger” unfolds immersive sonic landscapes with warm textures and ethereal melodies. Its atmosphere and celestial vocal samples create an expansive listening experience. “Magenta”, in contrast, leans into a bold yet elegant groove. Julián Nates is an Argentine DJ, producer, and drummer. His connection with music began at the age of four, studying instruments such as violin, piano, and drums—the latter at a professional level. At 23, he discovered a deep passion for electronic music, which led him to formally train as both a DJ and producer. He is currently exploring a new creative phase, fusing progressive house with distorted guitar sounds, aiming for a more personal and organic approach in his productions.
Throughout his career, Julián has performed in cities across Argentina, including Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario, Mar del Plata, Tucumán, Salta, Santiago del Estero, Pinamar, La Rioja, San Luis, and Río Negro, among others. His international debut came in 2019 in Barcelona, and in 2023 he completed his first global tour, performing in countries such as Pakistan, Australia, England, and Spain. He has also played twice in Bogotá (Colombia), at Brotas Sunsets (Brazil), and in multiple cities across Mexico including Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Isla Mujeres, Mexico City, Puebla, Puerto Escondido, and Guanajuato.
As a producer, his music has been released on labels such as The Soundgarden (Nick Warren), Vapour Recordings, Onedotsixtwo, Clubsónica, Beat Boutique, Or Two Strangers, Juicebox Music, and Mango Alley, among others. His tracks have been supported by renowned DJs like Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Markus Schulz, Tony McGuinness (Above & Beyond), Nick Varon, Mariano Mellino, and Graziano Raffa, to name just a few.
Over the years, he has shared the stage with artists such as John Digweed, Simply City, Alex O’Rion, Quivver, Budakid, Darin Epsilon, Pole Folder, Miss Melera, Mariano Mellino, Facundo Mohrr, Einmusik, Ezequiel Arias, and many others.

Born in Buenos Aires in May 1990, DJ Brian David knew from an early age that his destiny was marked by music. Raised in a diverse sonic environment, Brian grew up listening to cult bands like Depeche Mode, Radiohead, and Daft Punk, whose influences not only shaped his musical taste but also left a profound imprint on his creative style. His love of experimentation and ability to fuse genres found a natural outlet in the world of electronic music.
Brian David's music is characterized by a perfect fusion of organic sounds and the vibrant rhythm of progressive house. His unique approach combines warm, enveloping sound textures with a deep rhythmic pulse.

Influenced by great masters like Hernán Cattaneo, Nick Warren, John Digweed, and Guy J, Brian has cultivated an exceptional ability to read his audience. His refined melodies bring a touch of beauty and sophistication to the dance floor, standing out for his originality and ability to innovate within a classic yet fresh style.

Throughout his career, DJ Brian David has worked with some of the most important labels in international electronic music, such as Mango Alley, Kiksuya, Flug Lab, WTSE, Souksonic, Keyfound, among others. Each of his releases reflects his dedication and passion for music, maintaining his personal signature and his constant search for new ways to express his art.

His strident style, surrounded by refined melodies, brings subtlety to his mixes, capturing the attention of leading figures such as Simon Vuarambon, Nicolas Rada, Kora (CA), Rocio Portillo, Ric Niels, and John Cosani.
