This is Weval's first original track since their highly applauded debut album last year and it's the opening track to our upcoming Total 17 compilation which will be available September 1st.

"Merijn made the first demo some time ago and after DJ-ing it alot we finished the track in one rush this summer, with hours of jamming on old analog synths. We’ve had a lot of fun with the peak knob from the Korg MS-20, you can hear that at the end. It was important for us to keep the human improvised feel of the almost 'animalistic' (hence the title Metazoa wich is synonymous for animal) jam at the end. This is what we do live, more or less. The drums are also rough and unpredictable - you can't have enough acoustic drums on the dance floor if you ask us. We hope you'll hear the fun we had while making it!"
