Bow Kid replaces Frisk. She's very similar to the most common fanon personality for her: shy, but determined and cheerful all the same... most of the time. (Let's just say that certain routes in this game don't really do her a lot of favors.) After hearing Tim's story about what happened to Hat Kid, which had been kept under wraps for years, Bow sets off on a rescue mission. She's determined to save Harriet and put everything right... one way or another. And since this AU runs on narrator!Frisk, you get to hear a lot of Bow's internal thoughts throughout your journey!
Tim, the CEO of Time, takes a *heavily reduced* Chara role. While he isn't the "narrator" of this world, nor he is related in any fashion to Mustache Girl (the Asgore/Asriel replacement,) he DOES tell Bow the opening story about how Hat Kid and the planet Earth were deemed "lost causes" and abandoned.

Snatcher takes on an expanded Napstablook role. With him unable to properly do anything to the plentiful Mafia freeloaders in Subcon (and being bitter to no end because of that fact,) when Snatcher finds Bow in his forest, he tries to make HER sign a contract (and thus steal her soul) instead... only to once again be thwarted almost immediately by Cooking Cat and Goofy Mafia.
When Bow next meets Snatcher later on, this time on her own, the purple ghost's new goal is to “make your lifeless body sign a contract for you," being his usual bastard self all the while.

Snatcher takes on an expanded Napstablook role. After fulfilling multiple tasks for Snatcher throughout her adventure (whether through pacifism or violence,) Bow is stopped by him in a hall right before Mustache Girl's throne room. After biding his time for so long, Snatcher finally pounces; as far as he's concerned, the time has come for Bow's head to pop off, like every other contractor before her. He also pulls out an old trick and steals Bow's (well) bow, greatly limiting her ability to protect herself/counterattack. The fight for her life begins now!

Subcon Forest is the "Ruins" of this world. Mustache Girl's shenanigans with the Time Pieces left Mafia Town permanently covered in lava, forcing all of the Mafia (+ Cooking Cat) to relocate to more hospitable territory. In spite of its spookiness and cursed vibes, Subcon Forest actually fit the bill pretty nicely... much to Snatcher's dismay. Cooking Cat and Goofy Mafia are now the guardians of this new Mafia settlement, protecting the Mafia from Snatcher (and oftentimes their own stupidity.)

Here's the first completely new track for this account, and it's a guest track to boot! My boi Kristian did a really great job, and I had a fun time finalizing the mix on this one. Rly glad to have the Ruins replacement track at last!

I'm late to the punch by a couple days, but for the 1-year anniversary of my starting this AU OST, I wanted to give the track that (ironically enough) started it all a new coat of paint. Compared to the V1, I decided to strip this track "back to basics," so to speak. There are some *tiny* transcription additions, and I actually took more inspiration from this track's namesake for the backing strings/choir in the second half, but otherwise I wanted this new version to be closer in spirit to the original An Ending from UT.
Also I'll fully admit something here. Belowexchange's "What Comes Next" (https://soundcloud.com/silverswap/what-comes-next) -- which is fucking fantastic btw! -- is what inspired me to put both the V1 from my main and this new version in the key of F minor (and also influenced the backing a bit.) The way I initially did it on the V1 though was... fucking messy, to say the least. Redid it from the ground up and actually crossreferenced a proper *SCALE* for F minor this time, so everything on this update should now be one consistent key lmao.
All in all, I am FAR happier with how this attempt turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy! --Ashley

DJ Grooves takes on the role of Papyrus, and the Conductor is in Mettaton's place. That's right, you actually *don't* get to face Grooves on his own during the Genocide run! He's nowhere to be seen in his usual spot in Alpine Skyline, and then Bow only sees him again when she makes it to the end of Dead Bird Studios, where the Conductor is already waiting.
Anyhow, it may have taken the pending apocalypse for it to finally happen, but Grooves and Conductor have buried the hatchet. Their goal now is to take Bow down, and unlike the parallel UT fight, they're no pushovers here. =)

Bow Kid is still Frisk... but that hardly matters anymore. The bright and cheerful, yet nervous Bow that first landed on the planet is GONE. Her original desire of going home has long been forgotten, and only one goal drives this emotionless shell of her former self forward: *finish what she started.* 
Hat Kid takes Sans' place. With Bow's killing spree pushing everything to the brink, Hat Kid realizes that she just can’t stand back and watch time and space be torn asunder. As much as she doesn't want to do it deep down, she signs a new contract with Snatcher, selling her soul in exchange for WAY more power. Harriet is deadset on protecting what's left of this timeline and correcting the cataclysm Bow Kid caused, not wanting a repeat of her failure to with Mustache Girl before, and she doesn't care how much of herself she has to give up to accomplish this goal.
Snatcher is in a (heavily expanded) Napstablook role. Given that you have killed off everyone that Snatcher could have possibly roped into working for him, and maybe a part of him that he won't acknowledge caring for Hat Kid, he offers his "contractually obligated BFF" direct assistance in addition to the power boost. As far as he's concerned now, Bow's contract expired a LONG time ago, and it's time to make her head pop off like all the other contractors before her.

SO! Definitely will be having more tracks for this AU coming down the line, updates included, but let's be real folks. This is DEFINITELY the track a lot of you were looking forward to the most. Well, thanks to Nick's incredible talents, it's now a reality at long last -- and at a really convenient time too! Not only is this account close to breaching 50 followers -- thank you all for your support by the way! -- but A Hat In Time, one of the two games this AU is based around, will be 5 years old on October 5th!! So ye, consider the timing of this release an early treat for both occasions! ;)
Anyhow, I'm incredibly pleased with how the track turned out. There was a somewhat different idea pitched initially (hence why the Adventure's End sample is there,) but Nick took the notes and ran with them in a MUCH better direction for the piece, while still being fitting for what I had in mind for the AU. It was really nice working with Nick, and I'll definitely be using his services again, should they be available.

By this point in the route, Harriet's such a nervous wreck, she's barely able to finish even a single sentence. And unfortunately for her, this fight is only going to make things worse for her now-fragile mental state...
DJ Grooves is in Papyrus' role. He's been looking everywhere for Harriet, what with the strange things starting to happen in Alpine, but he's not at all pleased to see the condition she's in. In a last ditch effort to stop... whatever Bow's been doing to his friend, DJ Grooves initiates a battle. ...Very poor choice of final moments. =)

So yeah, the rare and exotic In My Way replacement. What I did here was take the Anticipation that I commissioned from Luggi, layer on an additional bass instrument and the SGM soundfont's heart beat "instrument," then apply effects (namely delay, reverb, speed reduction and minor EQ.) And yes, the "heart beat" was VERY MUCH drawing deliberate inspiration from "berdly_battle_heartbeat_true." The more obvious reason is a certain route's existence in Time's End, but the other is that (well) the Monster Kid moment from the Genocide Route doesn't rly exist in this AU, and the encounter with DJ Grooves on the TimeWarp Route is the closest equivalent. So ummmm yup, the In My Way replacement plays there instead.

Moonjumper replaces Gaster. They used to be great friends with Badge Seller... until one fateful day. MJ was always looking for power, but on that day, they went too far: they smashed the giant Time Piece in Subcon Forest in an attempt to rewrite time to their advantage. As a safety measure after this, Badge Seller trapped them in the Horizon, a prison just outside of time and space, to prevent them from ever having a prominent grasp on the world ever again.
MJ did, of course, manage to get out... sort of. They're just barely holding on to their existence. Glitchy as anything, their form phasing in and out of view, distorted speech... the works. MJ desires to finally get a proper foothold in this world once more, but needs Bow Kid’s help... help that they'll never get on the Pacifist and Neutral routes, as it requires Bow to do things that she'd normally never do.

That's right, folks. The Moonjumper tracks have FINALLY all been updated and will be properly ported over to this account!!
Decided I didn't like the primary "hook dialogue" - for lack of a better word - that got established in the (now-renamed) BIG SHOT replacement, so I scoured YT and Tumblr for good potential Moonjumper memes to sample in its place. And what should I stumble across that works, but an old AHIT mod showcase video from Doodrun (https://www.youtube.com/c/DoodrunDoesThings!) The moment I heard the snippet I did, I knew immediately that it would work wonders, and with a double meaning to boot, given Moonjumper's origins in AHIT's development!! (Tho I **did** use https://mvsep.com to remove the background music for the purposes of splicing and mixing.)
In addition to the obvious vocal changes, I finally modified and incorporated the proper main melody in here from the BIG SHOT, and also made some slight mixing alterations. Am very happy with how this turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy! :) --Ashley
(Also considering that I'll likely get comments asking about this, seeing as this is the first time I've posted about Moonjumper on this OST account specifically: I styled them after Spamton cause I could. I axed the Betrayed Undyne ending from Time's End due it not making much sense with Empress, and I figured that since this AU will never have a Deltarune counterpart, adding a lil smth based from it as the BU ending replacement would be fun to mess around with. Moonjumper replaces Gaster. After escaping the Horizon, they're just barely holding on to their existence. Glitchy as anything, their form phasing in and out of view, distorted speech... the works. MJ desires to finally get a proper foothold in this world once more, but needs Bow Kid’s help... help that they'll never get on the Pacifist and Neutral routes, as it requires Bow to do things that she'd normally never do. But as much of a fool's errand as it is, Moonjumper fights Bow on those two routes anyway when she encounters them at the broken giant hourglass. You aren't really able to lose to them, as they heal you right when you would be about to die, but hey! No pain, no [[game]], am I right? ...If nothing else, it gives time for em to get some cryptically cynical thoughts off their chest. Having to leave your thoughts to fester while constantly being mere inches away from non-existence, and corrupted beyond comprehension, kinda does that to a guy lmaoooo. 
After the fight however, Moonjumper says a few more things that SEEM to indicate the tiniest amount of hope, then just fades away without a trace, their grasp on existence being weakened just enough for it to slip completely... for a while at any rate. =)

And speaking of going completely off the fucking rails! XD
But yeah... given the context of the AU (plus Mu's motivations at this point,) I figured a bog standard ASGORE replacement wouldn't do the job as well. So needless to say, a different direction was VERY much taken here. The goal of this track was to fuse the general vibe/stylings of Attack of the Killer Queen, with the emotional tone + some additional instrumentation and section ideas from ASGORE; and hey, why not have some "heavy" parts to boot! Wound up working out far better than I'd initially planned when I commissioned Kristian, and I'm so insanely happy with how this turned out. He did a fantastic job as usual, especially with putting together so many ideas cohesively, and I went fucking *ham* putting the final bow on everything. In the TimeWarp route, after Hat Kid's (well) TimeWarp attack creates a schism in the space-time continuum, Moonjumper is FINALLY able to properly break through back into reality... by overwriting Mustache Girl's soul with their own, becoming Moonstache EX in the process. (ahem) But for real tho, this track has FINALLY been updated and properly ported over to this account, and with a brand new title to boot! A big part of me was wanting to wait to release this update until other tracks in the works for the AU (all via commission) were ready... But considering that my new schedule at work goes into effect tomorrow, meaning I'll have far less time to coordinate musical junk (let alone work on any,) I want to leave you guys with SOMETHING before then - especially considering that we finally breached 100 followers on this account! Thank you all so much for your support!! (Sorry that `update v420` has to be how it's celebrated tho, will try to put together a more substantial package for the milestone when I've got time.) :)
Anyhow, in addition to the changes with the vocals mentioned on the NYCTBA, I made the executive decision to re-record and slightly tweak the bulk of the secret lyrics too. On top of the most obvious aspects tho, I also lowered the key another semitone compared to the last public ver on my main, made some further adjustments to more accurately capture the "big picture" BIG SHOT vibe, and included a couple more minor tweaks past that (including a motif swap-in on the World Revolving section.) It's unironically been a FULL YEAR of on-and-off editing on this thing, but I think I can finally say with true confidence that this is now THE definitive ver of this track. DJ Grooves takes the role of Papyrus. Even in spite of his forced exile from Dead Bird Studios, he seems to have a very happy life in the Alpine Skyline... at first. But as the story progresses, Bow Kid notices more and more strange breadcrumbs (Hat Kid's up-and-down friendship with him being only one of em,) and by the time Bow reaches the end of Alpine Skyline, Grooves fully lets the cat out of the bag. He's been biding his time for years, waiting for an opportunity to attempt seizing Mustache Girl's Time Pieces, and he's realized... killing Bow Kid would give him *just such an opportunity.*

HAPPY (belated) NEW YEAR Y'ALL, BET YOU WEREN'T EXPECTING THIS HUH?
Anyhow, the first of several tracks in what I'll call a "commission backlog" (for simplicity's sake) has finally come to fruition: the Bonetrousle for the AU! I ALWAYS wanted to completely and utterly wreck the formula with this pair of tracks from the moment I cooked up Time's End, but I wasn't entirely sure of HOW for the longest time (even to the point of me attempting to start... and even scrapping one or two shit ideas.) It was only relatively *recently* that I realized "hey. LEAN INTO THE DISCO VIBE THAT GROOVES HAS, DUMBASS! also fuckin uhhhh `spend some kromer and support an awesome musician` to boot." And Nahg did a FANTASTIC job bringing this life; we'd be here all day if I tried to go in depth bout what I like, but just for a small thing, the fakeout at the very start with the Nyeh was a very nice touch on his part. Y'all should DEFO commission him if you get the opportunity to, he was awesome to work with and it's more than worth it!

Alpine Skyline, alongside the major areas within that it entails, replaces the Snowdin Forest. While the mountain range was mostly spared from the larger consequences of Mu's Time Piece smashing, the area's own inherent quirks led to some... strange things. Snow appearing in places where it shouldn't be, structures that once stood proud for eons needing to be repaired (or even rebuilt,) and the list goes on. The Nomads and Goats still live very happy lives here though, these are moreso minor inconveniences for them than anything else. Now Bow Kid, on the other hand! She's got a long road ahead before she can make it out of the Alpine.

So uhhh yup, turns out this AU isn't just angst. It's now angst with a Snowy replacement! XD
Ok but for real tho, I'm so incredibly happy with how this turned out. I didn't want to just have 5 different Snowy replacements for each separate area of the Alpine Skyline (cause goddamn it please show my account's minutes SOME form of mercy,) yet I figured merging together different aspects of several tracks into one might somewhat make up the difference while still fitting what I wanted to go for. And Kristian did a fantastic job at doing just that! Just about the only part of the Alpine that wound up not being represented in SOME way (major or minor) was the Lava Cake, but `cut us some slack here man this was so fuckin hard to even come up with the idea for lmaooooo.` The track gave me vibes of Mount Pajamaja's themes from Mario and Luigi Dream Team (albeit likely unintentional,) so I ran with that a wee bit more while finalizing the mix.

Cooking Cat and Goofy Mafia share the role of Toriel. Mafia Town being covered in lava forced practically everyone out, and this unlikely duo is no exception. Being nicer and more open than the others, Goofy and Cookie very quickly found common ground, and a friendship formed from there. Not having much else to do anymore, they help watch over Subcon Forest and the new Mafia settlements there (which Mafia Boss and Snatcher don't always make easy.)
When Bow's spaceship crash lands, Cooking Cat is ready and raring to help as always! As for Goofy Mafia... his fear of "slimy space aliens" is still here. It moreso comes out as general distrust and skittishness around Bow for now, but who KNOWS what turn this'll take as the journey progresses? (i do lmao)

Anyhow, this was part of the same commission cycle as the original version that I also got from Nahg. For the context of this scene in the AU, I've decided to edit the track to give it the same "uncanny" effect as Her Spaceship gets in AHIT proper (after either Grooves or Conductor win the award.) Prolly not gonna properly write it for a fat minute, just because I don't have many ideas for how to flesh out specific character interactions/dialogue pieces just yet, but I imagine it would be a clash of tones - the upbeat "we're all together again" vibe of UT's scene melding with the whole "man fuck this stupid red hooded child and the air she breathes" type of vibe from AHIT's Get Lost scene.

The Empress takes the role of Undyne. She already had a major sense of resentment to Bow Kid before (however misplaced it may have *initially* been on other routes,) but as her cat goons are mercilessly whittled down to nothing in the Genocide route... something finally snaps, beyond the point of no return. She's consumed by the urge for vengeance for not just herself, but for all of her Nyakuza (the only ones she even *remotely* cared about aside from herself,) leading to her bringing out something that hadn't been thought about for years: a prototypical battle suit made for one of the Conductor's movies, stolen and (somewhat amateurishly) modified to be WAY more deadly by Empress' crew. It was intended as a "last resort" trump card, and is being used as just that in a sense. However selfish and ignoble her motivations may be, and as MUCH as people outside of the Metro fear/dislike her, Empress' final stand here will (ironically enough) determine ALL of their fates.

So! I'll be going back to work on Tuesday, albeit with some restrictions. Wish I'd gotten more done during my leave of absence, but oh well. (Also ik the name on this one is kinda weak sauce, but I can't think of ANYTHING else that even remotely fits the context soooooo XP)
I'm still putting some finishing touches on one of the other tracks I commissioned, so I'm going even more out of order here with the Empress tracks for the Genocide route! In a bit of a parallel with the MEGALOVANIA (and also cause I thought it was fitting,) I actually suggested Antasma's Theme from Mario & Luigi Dream Team as a stylistic reference when commissioning this from Shade. He did a *fantastic* job of taking that and making it his own, while still being fitting for Empress (especially on this route.)

The Empress takes the role of Undyne. ...Unfortunately for her however, the battle suit's own inherent teething troubles -- combined with the poorly-executed tech alterations not helping matters -- means that it's eventually unable to withstand anymore damage, suffering a critical error and beginning to self-destruct. The Empress winds up going out in such a blaze of glorious fury, there aren't even any *ashes* left where she once stood.

To start off... I'm not even gonna lie. I couldn't come up with a good title for this one to save my dick... so BIG thanks to Jacket of Diamonds (@coat-of-red) for the name. I'm a real mf Asgore when it comes to naming things X'D
Anyhow, a bit later than I said I'd share it, but here's the AU's BAATH replacement! Similarly to the BTERTD replacement, I mentioned The Final Antasma Battle from Mario & Luigi Dream Team as a stylistic reference for this track when commissioning it (parallels to the MEGALOVANIA + I thought it was fitting for Empress, especially in Genocide.) Doubt I'll ever release it, but this time I also provided a "test" mashup of sorts with some of the ideas I was looking for. Shade took everything and ran with it in GLORIOUS fashion. I deliberately went with very non-traditional choices here, and he knocked it right out of the park -- and even improved on my initial idea in a fair few regards!

Mustache Girl takes on a hybrid Asgore and Asriel role. Years ago, she took Hat Kid's Time Pieces and set into motion a chain of events that would drastically change the world as everyone knew it, and put it firmly in her hands to rule. She thought this would be the best way to serve "proper" justice back then, but now? She's just tired. Mu's *been* done with this for quite some time, and she feels deeply trapped. Trapped by the people she already turned against her years ago, by her (in hindsight) rather bullheaded quest that's lost all its appeal of pursuing, by the all-encompassing kingdom she never realized she didn't want... and by an unending feeling of loneliness and sadness. The spark that started this mess is long gone (and that's putting it lightly,) but Mu sure as hell isn't going to actually say it, let alone give up without a fight. Cause the one thing that never *truly* went away was Mu's stubborness/committment, no matter how much it tears her apart inside.

Hat Kid is in the role of Sans. The whole dinner scene thing earlier on in the AU is still chill n all, but after Bow's final encounter with Conductor, Hattie can't help but feel bad for not giving her the full truth about things as they currently stood (and has been wracked with publically-repressed guilt over the state of the world for years now.) So in another twist, *Hat Kid* is actually the one that largely gives the whole backstory monologue thing to Bow. Though some of the NPCs on the sidelines *do* still chime in ever so often with their own comments about how much Mustache Girl sucks... much to Hat Kid's discomfort.

Still not the actual track I commissioned from Kristian, but I figured "hey, while I have the ACTUAL Memory replacement now, and since I think the old version sucked ass, let's redo the Track 71 replacement too!" Definitely more "minor" sounding than the old one, and nowhere near as chipper in tone, but I think this fits a bit better now.
Did still reuse a fair few aspects from the V1, namely a lot of the instrumentation and general progression, but everything was pitched down/adjusted as needed to match the new Memory replacement (https://soundcloud.com/ahit-times-end-ost/reflections-past.) Wound up replacing and swapping in other motifs in certain cases, even though one of them is likely blended in a bit *too* well in this final mix lmao. This track probably more *directly* reveals the influence behind the actual commissioned track -- the His Theme for the AU (ik shocker to end all shockers) -- and thus, what this and the Memory were built from. ;)

The Conductor fills Mettaton's shoes in this world. He may be the sole greatest influencer in the bird entertainment now (thanks to him ousting Grooves during the initial "Time's End" fiasco) but... he's *incredibly* bored and agitated. There are no obstacles in his path to success, and only now does he realize how much he *despises it* -- though he'll be damned if he EVER admits to missing DJ Peck Neck (for now at least.) His kinder side -- although still faintly there -- has become a LOT harder for his crew to see over time, especially Thomas the Inventor, who receives the brunt of Conductor's unchecked cockiness and fury nowadays. Bow Kid's arrival in the Mafia Flows makes Conductor immediately pounce on the opportunity for something CLOSE to a rival in his life again.
For the "dungeon" scene in this AU: the Conductor had a mech built from and disguised within the remnants of his first ever train (which derailed and was damaged beyond repair,) and after some reminiscing, he ambushes Bow Kid and SMASHES the old passenger car. The battle starts from here. ...Unbeknownst to Conductor, Tom has his own ideas, so the mech has *a lot* of faults that Bow Kid is able to exploit.

Ye ik it's still not funni `musriel his theme real` but I was low-key getting a bit tired of putting so many "heavy" tracks one after another on the account. So here's the song that plays when you fight a scottish bird's mecha built from a goddamn steam train.
This is yet another one of the ideas in this AU where I had no ideas initially, then wound up shitposting my way into coming up with something needlessly-but-also-majorly awesome. Except this one actually winds up tying a bit into the "arc" I settled on for this part of the story! (A large string of these sorts of ideas also happen to be in the "Hotland" portion of this AU, come to think of it. Sexy robot rectangles and weeaboo lizards overcomplicate things ig lmaooooooo)
The track is *very* much inspired from Digga-Leg's Theme from Super Mario Galaxy 2; the Super Mario RPG flavor was all Kristian's idea, and he did a fantastic job on this piece. Was fantastic working with him, as always. Hope you guys enjoy! :) --Ashley

Mustache Girl takes on a hybrid Asgore and Asriel role. She feels deeply trapped by the people she already turned against her years ago, by her (in hindsight) rather bullheaded quest for justice that's lost all appeal, by the all-encompassing kingdom she never realized she didn't want... and by an unending feeling of loneliness and sadness. The spark that started this mess is long gone (and that's putting it lightly,) but Mu sure as hell isn't going to actually say it, let alone give up without a fight. Cause the one thing that never *truly* went away was Mu's stubborness/committment, no matter how much it tears her apart inside.

Meowjima takes Mad Mew Mew's role. They're a hidden boss in Nyakuza Hideout that you can find on the Pacifist and Neutral routes, and they want to "bring out your fighting spirit." Almost like Undyne in UT in a sense, though without a lot of the character depth to the shtick. They're admittedly kinda basic in this AU, but that's the same case in vanilla AHIT lmao.

Happy (belated) New Year y'all! And yup, first proper upload for this project in 2024 is yet *another* update to a pre-existing track lmaooooo. (I do have something *huge* ready to share with y'all, but it's waiting on a thumbnail.) ;)
Anyhow ye, I'd been feeling incredibly dissatisfied with this one for a long while, largely due to the V1 sticking TOO closely with the "Oompah Oompah" remix's structure and being *too slow* for a character like Meowjima. So I finally decided to actually do smth about it. A LOT of the bones from the V1 are still here, but the first section had the lead adjusted to add Oh It's You in here (in a roundabout way) and received some tampering to the backing, and the final section was completely overhauled.
I'm admittedly still a *wee bit* iffy on the first section, but all things considered, I think this turned out nicely and is an overall improvement. Hope you guys enjoy! :) --Ashley

Mustache Girl takes on a hybrid Asgore and Asriel role. Already feeling trapped and conflicted, her emotions are finally pushed over the edge when an incredibly large group of people -- though it feels more like the entire world with how suffocating the crowd is -- barge into her throne room and hurl insults her way, telling her to "get lost!" among other things ...and (almost) all in the name of Bow Kid, mirroring what happened years ago to a disturbing degree. Finally overwhelmed by all her painful thoughts and emotions bubbling back to the surface, she snaps and violently shatters a Time Piece in a fit of rage. And thus history is made to repeat itself once more. But this time, something's different.

BABY'S FIRST HOPES AND DREAMS REPLACEMENT FOR THE WIN :D
But ye, this is actually happening! Aside from using similar instruments (and a somewhat loose idea for the very beginning of my track,) this is *very* deliberately unfaithful to the typical H&D structure. Knew right away that I wanted to use Mustache Girl EX as the base for this track, and that sticking too rigidly to the structure of any other H&D would do a disservice to the feel I wanted to go for: that same kick-you-in-the-dick level of power from Mu EX, but with a LOT more of a melancholy vibe underlying all that fury. Plus, bit of a fun fact: adjustments have been made since obviously, but the first "complete" mixing draft of this track was finished on New Year's Eve 2023! (This kind of constant revising is why the His Theme track is *still* not done on my part btw lmaooooo.)
Also... I'll fully admit something here. For the first time on a track I've done, the drumbeat's backbone is comprised of loops I got when I bought Mixcraft 10 (especially with some of the things they were offering during the first week of its launch,) and the only supplemental VST I used was Abbey Road 80's Drummer for the left panned hi-hats. I know that EDM-type stuff similar to the actual Mu EX track is completely out of my wheelhouse, and I didn't want to royally screw up the drum pattern with this different metal-ish take on it, seeing as those are something I have a TON of trouble with. All things considered, drumline came out ok!
And ye on the whole, I'm incredibly happy with this track, and it's *easily* the most ambitious arrangement I've done to date (and the most difficult too in some aspects.) Hope you all enjoy! :) --Ashley

Cooking Cat and Goofy Mafia share the role of Toriel. By now, both become *very* split over the issue of how to deal with Bow Kid. Cookie wants nothing but the best for you, while Goofy is... hesitant about you to say the least, his fear of "slimy space aliens" coming back in a very different way. Their friendship sits at a tipping point, but though things are tense, Cooking Cat is more than happy to let Bow rest at their house as long as she needs. She'll need a good amount of energy to make it through the Alpine Skyline and beyond, after all!

Eyyy I actually have something to talk about again! This track was a lot of fun to arrange, though admittedly a bit tricky to nail down the key (I keep forgetting what the key of Rush Hour is everytime I mess with it lmaoooo.)
Also the title of this and the Danger Mystery track are two parts of one joke. It's a bit of a play on the "No Trespassing: Beware of Dog" signs that you tend to see on private properties -- including the one I moved into relatively recently lol.

Mustache Girl takes on a hybrid Asgore and Asriel role. She's been conflicted for such a long time. Even now, as the world is returned to a sense of normalcy after *so long*... she finds herself lost in thought, troubled once more. Mu has finally realized the true right thing to do and has done it, no doubt about that. But now? She's back to square one, in a lot of ways. No place to call home, no family to fall back on.
But as everyone else finishes saying their goodbyes and parting their own ways, Bow and Harriet linger behind to have their own talk with Mu. This time, she will not be alone. And she will get what she truly needed (and wanted, deep down) all along.

Anyway! There were a couple other ideas that went through my head before I had a major revelation that lead me to settle on this one. Rather than just haphazardly using AHIT motifs that wouldn't rly fit the context, I got with my boi Kristian and asked if he was down to rearrange an old original piece of his (like, original draft made in *2016* levels of old here.) This was still a commission from him ofc, but I figured asking first before pitching it to him would make sense, given that claiming/remastering a pre-existing original is a bit of an ask. Am so glad he was willing though! A lot of my Thomas fandom peeps will likely recognize this just from title alone. ;)
