Basalt is a duo project from 2001. There are only a few tracks which still exist of this project. Somehow I found this in my archives the last days and think it´s still worth to share. Could be possible this also has been out on a compilation back then. I have 2-3 other tracks I will share the next weeks.

Borealis' debut album, "Voidness" has been a referential piece in modern electronic music for a lot of producers coming from just as many different backgrounds.

The massive remix project has brought them all together under one, 38 tracks long release of epic proportions that browses through genres from melodic techno to grim ambient and throughout a wide array of melodic, introspective sounds - all of them covered in our definition of high quality emotional electronic music.

<p>A threefold trip is presented here by TN.T, with the title track establishing dominance as mangled vocals and quirky synths meet a juicy, rubber-band bassline.&nbsp; &#8220;Pik Poket&#8221; opts for a more heads-down approach, utilizing a straightforward drumset and sticky sub-bass.&nbsp; The EP closes with the low-end heaviness of &#8220;Grot&#8221;, as even more vocal manipulation is introduced and growling stabs add a futuristic edge while distant electronics intertwine with the shuffling snares.</p>

An experimental ambient-leaning electronic album drawing influence from vaporwave and slushwave, built around warm, immersive synth textures and intentionally slow BPMs. The melodies and soundscapes evoke a shifting palette of emotion and introspection. Vocals alternate between pitched-down and natural delivery, layered with heavy delay and reverb. Hooks feature intricate rhyme and assonance schemes, adding lyrical depth to the atmospheric production.

Song for Sol is the next single from Spanish guitar phenomenon Jacob Gurevitsch. The song is dedicated to the artist’s goddaughter, Sol, and was written in Mallorca on her 10th birthday. 

For Gurevitsch, a piece of music bears within it the story of its origin and this is a beautiful example of that thought. Song for Sol captures dew-covered hillsides in the morning sun. Suspended in that sweet spot between gentle bliss and strolling melancholy, rich with virtuosic detail and poetic charm.

Gurevitsch is accompanied by Lars Vissing’s trumpet, which drifts along the track as a sublime, comforting interlocuter to the familiar guitar.

Başak Günak is a sound artist and composer also internationally known as AH! KOSMOS in the field of electronic music. Her work includes sound art, performance, sound installation, composition for theater & contemporary dance.

She released three solo LPs Bastards, Beautiful Swamp, Rewilding from Compost Records, Denovali Records, Subtext Records and FUU and numerous collar LPs, EPs. Both timeless and otherworldly, Günak’s work unconsciously defies being tied to a genre, tapping into something beyond an immediate surrounding or experience to communicate something more transcendental.
