"Hitmaker" was a play on words/double entendre. Pertaining to the song's concept, I am speaking from the perspective of being a rapper/songwriter in the rap game who understands the importance in making hit songs. While, at the same time comparing the lifestyle of a professional boxer when it comes to how valuable it is for them to deliver hits on their opponents. Also what goes into their preparation to ensure that they(The boxers)are ready to deliver the hardest blows to their opponents.

A past relationship that I was involved in romantically had ended and I had found myself being sad to the fact that the individual was not opened to us still being friends despite us no longer being involved with one another romantically.

In the light of the recent killing of the unarmed jogger Ahmaud Arbery, the song "Learn" serves as a glimpse into the psyche of an individual from a disenfranchised community that's observing the violence that occurs amongst his own race within his own community. While simultaneously, speaking on the same psyche through the same individual but from the viewpoint of the injustices that occur in society from the hands of the police and the overall hierarchy of America.

He sent me the track with his vocals already on it, so I knew what the song was about topic wise. I just wrote my verse and he would later come to pick me up from my pop's house, and I recorded my verse at his crib.

Despite the track's fun/exuberant energy, there's definitely still a meaningful/strong message hidden within the noticeable and surfaced level tone, and that message that I am striving to convey is I don't need to be like anyone to find my way as an artist in the music/entertainment business.

One out of many now famous/quotable lines from the G.O.A.T. Jay Z. I used that inspiration from that line(From Beyonce's song "Drunk In Love" ft Jay Z)and created a song that is heavy with braggadocio and wordplay/lyricism.

The term "Another Way" is not only attached to the title of this song that I've placed onto this project. It is also representative/symbolic to the idea of an individual being at a crossroads in their life and having to decide on which path should they take. Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not Taken" served as an inspiration for me when it came to finding a name for this project that could decisively capture the same exact sentiment that he did within that poem. In the 21 years of me being on this earth I have definitely had my share of paths/roads that I've taken and would later backtrack/reroute. Whether I initially chose to go down such road to live up to society's expectations and or to please other people by doing what they thought I should be doing. One thing is for sure, I made the decision and went down that road. Nor am I bitter or regretful about that, but instead grateful to have experienced those situations. But, without any further ado I present to you the track "Another Way".

Ama’d is a songwriter, rapper, and poet from Washington D.C. He credits/cites Tupac as one of his first and biggest inspirations as it pertains to making music and having an affinity for poetry. Ama’d also acknowledges his alma mater of southeast D.C. Anacostia high school for allowing him to blossom and grow into the artist/young man that he is today. Ama’d seeks to have a long career in the music business as an artist, also he’s hopeful that the music he creates can inspire others in a multitude of ways and finally to have a timeless catalog that’ll outlive his physical presence while here on earth.
