Radio Concert No.2

Tangent Lines was made in October 2013 with field recordings from a trip to Loch Alsh in the north west of Scotland, with Mike Harding and Jana Winderen. Most of the recordings used were made with hydrophones in the waters of Loch Alsh.

On Thursday June 22, I supported vinyl legend DJ Natasha Diggs in the Mixmag Lab NYC for a full Soul In The Horn takeover. Diggs has performed alongside legends like Mark Ronson, Grandmaster Flash, Dam Funk, Damian Marley, Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill and is famous for her taste in blending soul, funk, hip hop, disco, latin and skills as a master vinyl-selector. Huge thanks to Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective for the opportunity and for recording part of my set.

Stars Under The Sun

A Journey to Distant Objects will be one of the tracks off my latest Distant Objects album.

Unlike the two current pieces, https://soundcloud.com/synkrotron/gn-z11 and https://soundcloud.com/synkrotron/macs1149-jd1, which are soundscapes, Journey is a more upbeat Berlin School type track with lots of sequencer stuff going on.

One more track for Distant Objects and, once finished, it will be available for purchase, at a very modest price, on Bandcamp.

I hope you enjoy Journey and not too put off by its less than ambient format.
