My edit of The Climax Blues Band's 1976 hit 'Couldn't Get It Right'. I first heard this tune on BBC Radio 2 and was surprised it wasn't more well known. I had to put my own spin on it, so I made this club-ready edit, available for free on Bandcamp.

We’re thrilled to present the second part of the joint compilation between Tracklistings and Division Virtuel Records!

Following the success of the first volume released in mid-June, we continue the adventure with this second chapter - once again showcasing a diverse and powerful selection of electro tracks. And good news: the third and final part will be dropping in just a few weeks.

A few months ago, Grégory from Tracklistings and Atix from Division Virtuel came up with the idea to launch a compilation that would merge the energy of both our projects. The response was overwhelmingly positive - on our side, and across the electro community.

We received an incredible number of high-quality submissions, making the selection process both exciting and difficult. The result: a rich and diverse compilation to be released in three volumes.

This project took time to shape, involving many artists and contributors. We wanted to do things right - respecting each track, each artist, and crafting a consistent and powerful result.

Tracklistings has been offering mixes and exclusives around electronic music since 2008, without compromise, and has gradually specialized in underground electro. It has become a reference for fans of the genre.

Division Virtuel, based in Lyon and run by Atix, is a label that has been active for over 15 years. After several evolutions, it is now clearly focused on electro and electro-techno.

you can call this the director's cut, 12 hours of music, about 17 mixtapes cut into pieces to save the best parts, from the first mixtape i've ever done I Can't Stop Bullets, 15 days after getting ableton in 2008 to The End of The World aka Judgement Day (everything after that, starting from the Ninjas Shark mixtape to Mostly Sandwiches last year is considered god tier, by me)

i made this long edit for my car, added a few things here and there easter egg type stuff, it took me years to find what i really liked so there are some stuff i didn't like to listen to anymore (including lot of my own stuff and also a bunch of cringe worthy transitions like that delay fx i would abuse, somebody should have stopped me) so i just went at it and sorry if i used your track and it disappeared in the process, we collectively made a lot of stuff around that time that just sound like crap now

the main thing about those mixtapes is sometimes i'd just play a song for like 20 seconds but it doesn't mean i liked it less, sometimes you don't want to buy the whole thing you just want to taste it (M. Scott)
