Midgar is very happy to deliver a new release by Wata Igarashi!!! Anticipated since few weeks already, with the two bonus digital tracks ´Mantle´ and ´Displacement´ (both available for free download), Ciphers EP is a rich assemblage of deep sonic excursions showing throughout a strong coexistence of organic and virtual elements. The record opens with ´Ciphers´, where a fast paced sandy groove is driving high on drones via sparking ambiances. Second track, ´Hailstones´ is basically a beat knocking its way outside, under a heavy hi-hat hail, slashed by snares and haunted by holographic spirits. On the B-side ´Lucifero´ carries a mellow but powerful mood, sounds like a morning star that gradually transforms into a supernova, is definitely the more dancefloor oriented cut of the release. Closing the vinyl, the slow-footed ´Cocytus´ is the complete opposite of its previous track, because of a cold, grave rhythm, treated like a windswept tree. Finally, the only digital tracks, ´Mantle´ and ´Displacement´ are perfectly resuming Wata Igarashi sound signature, as trippy gatherings of crafted beats joining drones and deformed soundscapes, the first is mind stressing and epic at certain stages, while the second vibrates so dreamy as it´s made of percussions and supernatural blows.

Kyntral emerged from the Buenos Aires electronic scene at the beginning of 2019 as co-founder of his own imprint, Danza Nativa. His first releases are coming from this platform, as well in the Italian label Natch Records. Currently he is developing as DJ and producer, with both facets being orientated to the deep techno genre. As a sound designer, he is characterised by psychedelic sounds, shimmering pads and tribal percussions, making clear his view on hypnotic music. His DJ sessions all have a similar concept and stand out for being gradually built with slow transitions and clever track selection.
His release starts with ‘Curación', which has a tribal connotation where the use of percussions and sounds with random patterns generates a hypnotic atmosphere. 'Amuleto' takes the leading role of the album and shows us a more solid groove, accompanied by an exotic and psychedelic synthesizer. 'Lican Ray' tells a different story, where abstraction takes a key factor generating a mental impact on the listener. The EP ends with 'Reflejo', an ambient track full of emotions and memories of a sunrise in Buenos Aires.

Mbandwa mediators act on other believers behalf by using trance or hypnosis and offering sacrifices to plead with the spiritual world in the name of the living.

BNJMN's (@bnjmnnn) album Hypnagogia gets the remix treatment. The Berlin based Brit is a common name seen on Delsin since 2014. With his adventurous techno ambient sounds he released several EPs and his latest full length back in 2018 on the Amsterdam imprint. Here he invites four of his favourite producers to give their twist to his latest album.

Up first, Efdemin turns one of the title tracks into a driving and fierce techno twister where Italian producer Luigi Tozzi eases out the bounciness of Indub's original into an atmospheric dub-techno floater. On the flip rRoxymore does her magic with squeaky percussion riffs and playful melodies turning the original ambient jam into a vivid dance floor roller. Finalizing the pack is Nous'klaer mainstay Mattheis using his instinctive feeling for melodies to create a hypnotizing yet gentle version of Moth Lines.

@rhythm-buro's second VA release comes together as something of a legacy of doing parties and running a label for nearly six years. While the Ukrainain founders and core team is three members, the extended collective is composed of DJs and producers who've often played the parties, fans and friends alike from around the world. 

This EP is a celebration of that community: the Kyiv-based initiative has brought a handful of the parties' friends together for one beautiful four-tracker. After a run of solo EPs in their catalog by the likes of Zadig, Haze, Na Nich and Cyspe, Rhythm Büro's seveth release includes such artists as the Italian duo a_000, their compatriots Orion, one-half of Artefakt, Lapien, and the up-and-coming French techno prodigy, @hydrangeamusic.

'Half Awake’ represents what Rhythm Büro as a label does best: techno not only for your feet and moving, but also for your head and dreaming.
