Tech House 2016

Sergio Munoz and Israel Sunshine's combined talent under their Fur Coat moniker was first spotted by the keen A&R ear of Damian Lazarus, who signed their debut EP Space Ballad to his east London imprint Crosstown Rebels back in 2010. Specialising in creating dark and immersive atmospheres, the duo deploy weirded out vocals amidst deep and rolling grooves in their aesthetic, weaving compelling journeys for their listeners in their productions and DJ sets. 

In addition to impressing on Lazarus they also have caught the attention of Last Night on Earth boss Sasha who in his latest Cornerstone Tracks interview with us talked up their sound to new heights saying of the duo "They’re just making really great dancefloor records at the moment; the perfect records for the middle of your set that can really take the roof off the club. They are really focussing on those peak-time records and they’re doing a very good job." As far as endorsements go they couldn't really get better than these words from a figurehead such as Sasha, and as the pair prepare to come to our Room One space this Saturday night we are amped to present an exclusive new mix showcasing perfectly the sound they are tipped so highly for.

Bio
Passionate about music since childhood, Romanian Alex Rise started taking DJ courses in 2008 after which a series of events started in small, local clubs where he put his bases of the profession and learned how to communicate with the audience.

He got his ﬁrst resident title in a prestigious club in Club Napoca where his strong will and abilities have highlighted his persistence and passion for music which made him a well respected local artist. First musical production made by ALEX RISE “No Obstacles” was signed with “TERMINAL M” label of the famous german Monika Kruse and it was launched on 14th September 2015. The song was composed and produced in collaboration with LUCA M and JUST2. With them two, Alex will continue to cooperate in the near future. In the sequel Alex Rise wants to contribute to develop the prodigy of the Romanian clubbing to reach the highest professional level.

Alex Rise describes himself as being a dreamer, an optimistic and realistic person at the same time, the key of his success is positive thinking. The main inﬂuences are nature, love, nightlife, the quality people surrounding him and all about art … the whole Universe! Beside the music, Alex is passionate about spirituality, fact that he considers a signiﬁcant cell in his development and rising!
