5 ans et demi déjà que le label suédois Local Talk Records, co-fondé par MAD MATS et Tooli, nous régale avec des sorties toujours à la pointe de la house musicalité. 

Après plus de 80 releases aussi bien soulful, disco, que deep & acidulé e s avec de très belles signatures telles que Lay Far, HNNY, Kioday, Fulbert, Dj Steaw, il était temps de fêter ça, et de bien foutre le bordel en famille sur le meilleur dancefloor avec les meilleurs danseurs, pour les meilleurs vibes.

Quoi de plus logique donc que cette collaboration avec le CLUB LIMO - le collectif au groove le plus gentil d'Europe de l'Ouest - & le DJOON - le plus soulful des clubs de la capitale, très apprécié des gens qui savent groover un max.
Plus qu'une soirée, ce vendredi 10 mars sera un véritable festin auditif, afin de nourrir de chaleur corporelle tous les petits habitants de la France qui bounce. 

Et en guise de cerise sur le tempo, le label sortira sa compilation d'anniversaire !

DJ Mad Mats, un des fondateurs du label mais aussi S3A Sampling As An Art qui signe une des tracks de la compilation et le prodigieux Lay-Far ayant sorti de très belles prods et EPs sur le label.

Live at Noisily Festival 2017 - Sunday

In 2002 the fourth instalment of the Balance Series was mixed by Melbourne favourite Phil K, its combination of the then in-vogue tribal house and nu-breaks regarded by many as one of the highlights in the series. Not long after he was tapped by DJ Mag to be a part of their DJ World Series campaign, and he compiled an 11-track cover mount CD which showcased Australian breakbeat producers. Depending on who you converse with, this mix is considered one the best breaks mixes ever compiled (and in this writer’s opinion it is a very valid argument). 

Phil is also part of production duo Lo-step (alongside Luke Chable) who in 2007 released their  criminally underrated debut LP Because We Can on Global Underground. More famously, their music found heavy support from Sasha who signed ‘Burma‘ for his classic Involver mix. (On that note too, Phil has teased us with the promise of new Lo-step music: “Before the end of the year a couple of new Lo-step remixes which I can’t talk about yet…”  )

But when it comes to technique he has few rivals, and this is one of many reasons Phil K is considered one of the best in the world. In his hometown of Melbourne (and for those in the know around the world), Phil is revered as the DJ’s DJ, a technician who’s curiosity and love for new technology is only upstaged by his ability to tame each new item and employ it into his sets as if it’s been around for years. Even Pioneer has acknowledged his innate understanding of technology, and they approached him to help with the development of a prototype for the DVJ-X1 (the first visual and audio live mixer).

What we are getting at is that Phil K is a deadset legend and there aren’t many on this planet that can claim the skills or natural talent that he possess. Needless to say, we are ecstatic to finally have Phil compile us a mix, and in light of our mini-milestone of 50 podcasts, just in time too: He is an artist who has played such a vital part in the Balance narrative. With this mix he has delivered a engaging 2 hour extravaganza which in true Phil K style traverse breaks, house, techno, and whatever else. Featuring a mouth-watering selection of forward-thinking artists including Objekt, Pangaea, Kowton plus tracks from Phil’s new production alias Digital Stars…

Steve Bug & Langenberg - PARADISE SOLD REMIXES 

Steve Bug and Langenberg's 'Paradise Sold' album dropped earlier this year to quite a rapturous reception. It's hardly surprising that two of the more prolific and passionate men in house music would pull together such a complete album of contemporary house music.

Happily, the guys have now curated a fine EP of remixes from friends and family to take some of the album's key moments into new directions.

'Search For Xur' gets the treatment by Rodriguez Jr., bringing a very slinky, late night deepness to the original courtesy of a bubbling bassline and emotionally charged synth pads.

'Senior Elfo' is flipped by fellow Germans Frankey & Sandrino, whose knowledge of the deeper end of the tech house spectrum gives the track an epic openness.

Perlon and Panorama Bar legend Cassy drops her Full On Dub Mix of album highlight 'Chord Cluster', and delivers a slick, driving burner for the floor.

Similarly, 'A Touch Of Detroit' is re-rubbed by Ostgut Ton's Virginia with her Broken Touch Of Detroit mix, which channels classic motor city techno legends to produce a near perfect slice of hi tech soul.

Marijus Adomaitis , better known by his stage names Ten Walls or Mario Basanov is a Lithuanian producer who is best known for his 2014 single "Walking with Elephants", which peaked at number 6 on the UK Singles Chart.
In 2012 under the name Mario Basanov Adomaitis won Best Electronic Act at Lithuanian M.A.M.A. music awards.
On 10 May 2013 Ten Walls released his debut EP Gotham.[4] On 9 December 2013 he released his debut single "Requiem".On 7 September 2014 he released the single "Walking with Elephants". On 10 September 2014 the song was at number 3 on The Official Chart Update in the UK. On 14 September 2014 the song entered the UK Singles Chart at number 6.The song also peaked at number 3 on the UK Dance Chart and number 8 on the Scottish Singles Chart.
