Amazinggg great morning session at gym 😝🤓😁😂🪄🧙‍♂️

Hiya guys, with Warm Up Festival just around the corner I thought now would be a nice moment to share a special set that I played at last year's festival.

Whilst chilling in the campsite with friends after Max Cooper had closed the main stage on the Sunday night, I realised I still had my USB in my pocket, so I decided to jump on the decks in the Blue Moon tent, which is our after hours chill out spot. Before I knew it, the space was pulsating with soft rhythms and deep flowing grooves. The tent was oozing with love, and there were smiles on everyone's faces, and some tears of joy too. I felt like we were all in a cocoon together, cushioned by the warmth of the music, and feeling euphoric with the afterglow of what had just unfolded over the weekend. Warm Up Festival had finished, and this was our decompression as we wound down and reflected upon the beauty of the weekend.

I took this opportunity to revisit some of my old folders containing the deepest shades of house house music. Nothing was planned, but somehow each track I chose seemed to flow perfectly into the next and formed what turned out to be a really special journey. 

Those few hours will stay with me forever, it was the most enjoyable DJ’ing experience I've ever had. If you were one of the people in the tent with me that night, I hope you enjoy reliving the beautiful moments we shared together.

Let’s meet again this summer in the Blue Moon, after-hours on the Sunday night for round 2.

Aidan Doherty - London based DJ and founder of Warm Up and Warm Up Festival.

It’s about ignoring the conventional wisdom of bland, sometime politics and playing the game by a different set of rules. You have DJ’s who play music, and you have DJ’s who tell stories, be a storey teller.
