My first ever recorded compositions, God help me. But I was only 12! The year was 1974. I was in the scout troop in Barlaston, Staffordshire, and our leader, Graham Lewis, spotted a competition for scout musicians. So he recorded five tracks and we were duly entered. We never heard anything! The other members were Mick Stewart, Andrew Bigham and Daniel Brockman. I'm still in touch with Mick! Here are three excerpts of about all I can bear to listen to (and reckon you will, too!). As well as these songs of mine, we also recorded The Wombling Song and I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day – not included here for reasons of copyright and taste!
