Back in April of this year, Synthetiq Frequencies got together and kicked off an incredible partnership at one of our favorite venues, Rusty Lotus. Double Helix played a hybrid live set that, to this date, they believe to be their best work yet. While every live set has improved on the last, and they've been proud of their new direction and innovations, this set was surrounded by an electric dance floor who were beyond receptive of what they brought to the table. So honored to have yet another new guest on this week. Moleculartrout makes his debut with a live set recorded at Soniq Oasis! As some of you know, Soniq Oasis was first ever festival collaboration from us here at Synth Etiquette Radio and Greenville's Frequency Underground. Moleculartrout played Saturday night at sunset with an absolutely perfect set for the time. It's a beautiful journey that helped cap off the day and encapsulate the energy moving into the evening. A true master at curating a vibe, both with his music and Dimensions of Being events, we were fortunate enough to have him perform at our  Soniq Oasis festival we co-produced with Synth Etiquette Radio this summer. We were equally fortunate to have been recording and captured his 4am set from the weekend and are pleased to now present it for Episode 133 of Frequency Underground! Enjoy!

◾How did you come up with your dj name: Silent Duality emerged from studying the underlying architecture of the universe.  

◾How and when did you get into djing: After producing music for a few years, I realized I needed a way to showcase it, so I began DJing 8 years ago. 

◾Who are your musical influences and what is your inspiration: 
Musical Influences range from  Pink Floyd, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, to Beethoven and Chopin to Deep Dish, Audiofly, Tale of Us, Acid Pauli and so many more. 

I’m deeply inspired by the processes of Nature and science. 

◾Describe your sound as a DJ: I’ve always had a hard time pin pointing this answer. It’s definitely rooted in House and Techno. But recently someone told me, Tribal Psychedelic Minimal Tech. I like it haha. 

◾What does the future hold in store for you as an artist:
I’m seeking to influence the philosophy of music through my art. Elevate to higher forms, the way we consume and understand music.

Face Machine inhabits the blurred threshold between the human and the synthetic, where identity becomes fluid and is constantly rewritten. Drifting between melodic techno, underground trance and electro-pop, the album unfolds like a network of unstable selves - mirrors folding into mirrors, names dissolving into signals. Vocals shift between male and female, merging with abstract textures until the human voice becomes something unbound, a mutable instrument suspended between body and machine. Each track carves its own passage through luminous, volatile atmospheres, yet all are tethered by a shared sonic architecture of detuned oscillators, layered melodic counterpoint, and synthesis timbres that breathe with organic motion.

These twelve tracks move through states of emergence and disappearance - memory scattering, identity refracting, presence dissolving into signal. Wordless chants, whispered fragments, and spectral harmonies drift like residues of selves that never fully arrive. Within this landscape, rhythm and texture intertwine: polyrhythmic layers build and collapse, melodic threads blur into complex harmonic tides, and shifting tonalities open portals into new emotional terrain. Face Machine doesn't offer resolution; instead, it lingers in the spaces where perception falters and technology reshapes what it means to exist. It is an album of thresholds and transformations - a meditation on how we become, lose, and reinvent ourselves in an age where even our voices can belong to someone, or something, else.
