By day, a visual creative director who's spearheaded some stylistically captivating campaigns for major brands that you've seen. He also creates the artwork and accompanying music videos for All Day I Dream and listed's PLAY events. By night, he's a man of the beats, with a sonic signature that can be described as uniquely Hoj: melodic but heavily beat-driven, chugging, bouncing.

Your physical movement is an inevitability, whether it be on dance floors the world over, including in front the Robot Heart bus and Panorama Bar, or simply your office chair. This set is the perfect tease, at times pretty and warm, slinking into darker, heavy beats and out again, a precursor for things to come from this artist.

ここ数年シーンを席巻しているルーマニアの新星、Nu Zau。2012年にFear Of Flyingからヴァイナル"Pason/Deja Vu"をリリース後、Archipelからのデジタルフルアルバムなど、そのリリースラッシュはとどまることを知らない。そして盟友Seppとレーベル"Uvar"を運営。
オールドスクールなものからニューウェイヴな作品を織り交ぜたそのプレイスタイルは国境を越え世界中の人々を魅了している。

Nu Zau is one of the leading producers and dj's that have come out of Romania in the past few years. Inspired by already well established names such as Ricardo Villalobos,Rhadoo,Thomas Melchior and many others, he's grown into a romanian household name in a very short year span. Dark, percussive, funky and quirky would be the best way to describe his sound, already having released on labels such as Fear Of Flying in 2012 with his debut vinyl release "Pason/Deja Vu" and his debut album on Archipel, released digitaly. Since then he's signed EP's, individual tracks and remixes on many other labels such as Gilesku Records, Aeternum Music, Memoria Recordings and Uvar, which he co-runs with fellow romanian Sepp.
His productions have gained world wide recognition - Raresh, Rhadoo, Ricardo Villalobos, Petre Inspirescu, Fumiya Tanaka, Onur Ozer, Bill Patrick are only a few of the people that can be heard playing his tracks.
As a DJ he seemlessly blends through oldschool records and new wave productions alike, crossing borders musically and inspiring people wherever he plays, be it in romanian clubs such as Studio Martin or Kristal Glam Club, or beyond romanian borders - Gipsy (Moscow), Paradigm (Groningen, NL), Pfingstweide (Zürich,Switzerland), Pigallion (Paris, FR),Crucifix Lane (London, UK),The Wood (Brussels),Tante Emma Club (Innsbruck, Austria), Facktura(Odessa,Ukraine), Grial (Ibiza), Concorde Atlantique (Paris, FR), and many others.

The 52nd installment of our famed podcast series is coming from London based DJ, vocal techniques graduate, accomplished pianist and Crosstown Rebel signing Francesca Lombardo. Initially going under the alias Jackie Misfit whilst DJ’ing at underground clubs and parties throughout London as well as running her own imprint Echolette Records before re-earthing in her current carnation. The label boss has delivered a special exclusive mix for MEOKO to celebrate Kublicle’s seventh B-DAY. The mix plays out shifty transitions that take place throughout time and space and does not aim at phat hands-in-the-air moments but rather big silent freak outs that has you coming out of your closet dancing, possibly in sexy tights. There is an endless emphasis on deep vocals which does not come as a surprise as Lombardo is a classically trained vocalist herself who also loves to produce tracks and remixes which ooze voices and song elements. This might be one of the reasons why Francesca got picked up by Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels. The mix reflects all currents of the moment, with Francesca being the firm epicentre of the London party scene.
