Dodi Palese is back on Engrave Ltd with his new work ‘Spirals’ that takes inspiration from his recent pleasure journey through some of the best known Galaxies. The first track opening the ep comes from the feeling of a quiet sliding around the little Coma Berenices costellation. The result is a monolitic techno groove that runs into a more melodic direction thanks to a spacial pad placed in the middle of the track which builds up a strong emotional atmosphere. Visiting the near Virgo cluster, Dodi couldn't avoid to remain impressed by the giant elliptical galaxy Messier 87 and its core that contains a supermassive black hole. The strong multiwave radiation and particularly radio waves merge into the crazy interlace of Dodi's Synth programming. Just try yourself to see what that means! Visiting the large group of galaxies located in the constellation Ursa Major an interference coming from M109 has resetted Dodi's instruments. Restarting the whole system was the only choice but everything would not sounds the same way anymore and it become even worst after the virus infection of the main computer that occurred near Fornax. M109 and NGC1365 are somehow wrong, weird, or you can say not belonging to this world but this is actually what Dodi's sound aim to be so... everything fine and we hope to hear more from him soon. Theta Eridani (θ Eri, θ Eridani) is a star in the constellation Eridanus. It has the traditional name Acamar from the Arabik Ākhir an-nahr which means "the end of the river“.
Acamar is a double star with some evidence suggesting it is part of a multiple star system
Acamar's distance from Earth as measured by the Hipparcos astrometry satellite is approximately 120 light-years.
Ptolemy described Acamar as a first-magnitude star, which some have taken to be in fact Achernar, which today appears just above the horizon in Alexandria where Ptolemy lived.
Achernar, however, was not visible to Ptolemy (it is from Alexandria today due to procession); its declination in 100CE was -67, making it invisible even at Aswan. Ptolemy's Eridanus thus without doubt ended at Acamar, which rose about 10 degrees above the horizon from Alexandria. This fact besides positively identifying Acamar as the original "end of the river", also strengthens the case for Acamar having been first magnitude in ancient times.

With his last EP offering on Keinemusik, &ME displayed himself once again as supplier of anthems that easily reconcile style with general floor purpose. You would think, such an universal and inexhaustible tune as this very “After Dark” can only be a lucky hit. But no, he’s knocking out the classic material just like that. Another example? Catalog number KM028, his brandnew “Trilogy” EP.
The titletrack on A initially places a synth arpeggio behind a kick that in dryness is hardly to excel. The beat of "Trilogy" is then seasoned with rimshot patterns until the saturated bassdrum comes in and paves the way to the dancefloor. &ME even refines his knack for stoic grooves on this jam and once again shows his sure feeling for suitable vocal features. Sabotas croon comes devoid of big gestures and still knows the ropes to appeal to the collective mentality of a clubcrowd.
On the flipside, “Woods” is living up to its name from the very beginning. Woody percussions are thumping within an almost subtropical scenario that’s frequently pervaded by mighty synth clouds. And once again, there’s an arpeggio sneaking in that at some point is taking the lead in this strictly instrumental affair. Add a break building that will educe a floor’s complete euphoric potential without going for the rather mindless escalation and there you have it: a B-side that’s actually more of an A-competitor.
