When four artists of this quality join forces, you know the end product is going to be rather special. The production mastermind behind the 2019 international mega hit Pieces, German multi-instrumentalist and certified platinum composer AVAION has been making serious with his hypnotizing sound, combining futuristic basslines, uplifting beats, self-played instruments and melancholic vocal rap to create an undoubtedly unique writing style.

Hailing from the Black Forest in the Southwest region of Germany, fellow countryman PaulWetz is also one of the most exciting young talents to hop onto our radar over the past few years following an impressive collection of majestic singles including Impatience, Hypnotize Me, Bruises, People and Misfits.

Together, the two prolific German artists now look to continue their impressive run of recent form with the announcement of a brand new collaborative musical offering, Sleepless.

An evocative slice of playful, indie-inspired, vocal electronica, AVAION and Paul Wetz team up with Bristol-based producer Nu Aspect (Light, Said To You, What’s In My Head and Run Deep), and Selected's favorite YUMA (Overthinking, Last Time, Mean To Me, How Would It Feel) for one of the biggest collaborations we’ve released on the label to date.

The weirdo underground live-house duo that is SHOUSE often invite local singers and musicians to collaborate when bunkered down in their Collingwood studio. New release “Love Tonight” is an amalgamation of this working environment, whilst being a cheeky parody and adorable homage to the classic ’80’s celebrity extravaganza that was Bandaid “We Are The World”. Assembling a choir of all the people that they have loved and admired in their local scene (Oscar Key Sung, Monte Morgan (Client Liaison), Bec from The Harpoons, HABITS, Pillow Pro and so many more!), Ed and Jack have delivered the type of number that champions unity and a shared sense of eternal wonder for the future! 

For remixes we have Mike Simonetti (Horse Meat Disco) delivering a dark acid heavy late night techno jam, DJ Seinfeld who eschews the hook altogether for a fun lo-fi belter, and Australian newcomers The Nights with a lusciously pulsating melodic mover. Theres also an exceptional Acapella mix with plenty of dance saxophone!

The warmth delivered on this song is arguably tangible! Showing a shared sense of compassion and a display of strength.
