Surya Namaskar

This set opens with a forward from Neil Postman's, "Amusing Ourselves to Death" which explains our inevitable demise at the hands of the entertainment industry, social media, technology, etc. I realize the irony due to the medium I chose to tell my story, but this selection of tracks and unusual soundbites best delivers this wake up call. We start slow and dark, as the mind realizes the truth, then speeds up with anger and resentment. We peak at fear and retreat, and then come out with intelligent tech filled curiosity. The ending finishes with the feelings of hopeless melancholy, then finally acceptance.

This set made it's debut on The Future Breakz Show hosted by Fastbinder on April 5th, 2013. I would like to thank Fastbinder for allowing "Amusing Ourselves to Death" reach NSB Radio's many listeners. I would also like to thank everyone that tuned in to listen to my work first hand. Namaste.
