8Z comme le département où j'ai grandi, E9 comme le code postal londonien ou une petite part de my life s'y cache. 
Depuis le début des années 2000, la music Grime a toujours accompagné plus ou moins secrètement mes playlists.
Le Grime c'est quoi ? d'après Wiki, il s'est développé à partir du style de music britannique UK Garage, et tire ses influences, pour les productions, de la Jungle, de la Drum & Bass, du 2-Step. Pour ce qui est du flow, le grime tire son influence du Dancehall et du Hip-Hop.
Le Grime c'est aussi l'expression la plus brute de la street life, en témoigne cette cover issue des émeutes de Londres en 2011.

Ce mix est un mélange de classiques du genre tel que Dizzee Rascal, Wiley, JME, P Money et j'en passe... additionner à quelques tracks et freestyles qui tapent fort. Au niveau des prod, il y'a une petite battle entre mes deux beatmakers Grime préférés que sont Maniac et Teddy Music. Le tout s’étalant sur une période allant de 2006 à 2023.
Le titre du mix, Gimme Grime, est un hommage à l’émission radio du même nom de DJ Cameo sur BBC 1Xtra.

Bref, je kiff le Grime et fallait que je vous partage ça.
