To pass the time we punched a ball over the gate
Back and forth it went, materialist state
In the middle of the stifled tense rank heat
And the wilting grass was choking sickly bleached

Seemed the air was charged with boredom and the land
Disolved and it shimmered, I could not understand
Solid states were changing, air was thickening
Blood curdled beneath, each breath was sickening

The sky it descended to touch the bare ground
The earth it ascended, spun wildly around

I ran to escape it , hopped onto the gate
But it was upon me and it was too late

The howling and bluster the dust in my eyes
Near ripped off its hinges I thought I might die

It seemed like forever caught in fairy winds
Violent eternity throttled no end

Suddenly it passed tore off down the lane
Ripping at branches like limbs on a chain

The dust and the debris was scattered around
I rocked and I reeled and I fell to the ground
