An experiment with creating full string orchestra sounds joined with synth and beats.

Symphony

In this track i tried to create a really big and wonderful sound. I've fallen in love with combining big synth sounds with more organic sounds. For example i used a bunch of orchestral sounds and samples as well as a midi choir next to that gentle but prominent synth sound. I expanded the space of the music by using the midi choir. I panned each voice apart from each other and used really dense harmony in parts, giving the sound an extra dimension and making it sound more like a real choir, but also really big. Final product was this calm sound contrasted with drama and mixed with the surreal ... I'm in love with it.

Ambient Journey

Where is My Mind by the Pixies is one of my favourite songs. Don't judge the singing too harshly - I'm not really a singer. I've done a cover of it before but I decide to step it up a level and add some new techniques and sounds that I've learnt over the passed few weeks/months. I used a simple guitar riff and transformed it into some mega awesome synth sounds. The drum loop I (admittedly) used gives it so much energy - I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!

Where Is My Mind - Pixies (cover)

Made this using some plug-ins that I haven't used before. That's all that 8-bit like sounds you hear in the background. A calm yet emotional sound dominates this song and i love it so much. I paired acoustic drum sounds with midi/electronic sounds, similar to what I've already done with most of my songs - acoustic + synth

Stargazing Dreamer

Casually making music while learning the tricks of the trade. What i love about music and art is the idea that there are unlimited possibilities as to what you can create. My only limitations are my abilities and skills and that pushes me to learn and practice.
