Happy Mother's Day to all the moms <3<3 Manisha and I wrote this song together about how it feels to grow up and see your parent's through a completely different lens. Whether it's seeing your mom wine drunk and realizing this is the woman who used to put you to bed, or painting your nails red because that was always her signature color, this is our love letter to our mothers and mothers everywhere. Te quiero momma! SO SO SO much love.

This may be the saddest song I have ever written, but is the best representation I have of what I love to call my genre/genre influences, which is "angsty folk." This song came out of me after one very horrid day, but happy to say things have gotten significantly better since then :) "Kind of a morbid daydream spiral."
