The subject matter of this single is inspired by the harrowing events experienced by women in Magdalene Laundries as well as more current and topical events such as the inhuman treatment and ultimate death of 31-year old Savita Halappanavar who died on Irish soil as a result of rigid and morally improper laws. 
In addition, the concept for the music video features a series of clips depicting public outcry from numerous human rights rallies and marches; including most recently the 
“IBelieveHer” rally

With that being said, I wish to establish that I care deeply and wholeheartedly about this project and most pivotally the reasoning and inspiration behind it.
As a collective society, we are obligated to stand up for what we believe in through any medium necessary whether it be from preaching in the streets to simply telling your friends.

It’s our body, it’s our choice. Women in doubt need a voice.
