Originally by Donavan, who is one of the great songwriters from the 60s, Catch the Wind is a song about powerlessly pining for someone. 
I have reharmonized and reimagined this song to reflect my style and interpretation, featuring my century-old trumpet!
In these uncertain times, we are all missing our friends and family, and have no choice but to wait for this to pass.

What a time to be alive, to gaze through Glass at Neowise. Pale blue streak across the sky, 6000 years since it last passed by. ￼
I was standing there with you under an ancient oak, we witnessed the prophecy of oracles, the spectacle was magical. 
That same summer, we sat under the vast expanse and pointed at the planets- from our perspective we could see each one. 
Jupiter and Saturn were married, and Mars was closer than ever before- red as Virginia clay. 
Alas, the Perseids brought a shower of shooting stars, we were wishing for the moment to never end. We locked eyes, I saw your soul. 

 We discussed our place in the universe, how insignificant and meaningless it seems without something to believe in. How can anyone exist without questioning their consciousness? We are lucky to live at all. 

On the New Moon, we let go of the past and looked to the future with a shared vision. I read your cards. Everything finally made sense. 
I danced around as the light from the Corn moon beamed down onto my skin. You laughed, overflowing with love for me. 
Our spirits have a celestial connection, ever-expanding and infinite. A Matrimony of Astronomical proportions. 
My heart is like the sun, blazing with passion, shining from within. You bask in it, feeling my radiance warm yours, taming the flame that rages. 
You are the gravity that holds me down, keeps me grounded, safe, and sound. You are the bedrock of our body, holding us together as waves and weather try to erode us. 
But as we stare into the heavens, we see entities staring back, piercing through the vacuum to meet our eyes. 
And we wonder, what does it all mean? 

Now, we put our faith in the unknown and it delivers beautiful realities to us. We wonder aloud, and the answers are found in serendipitous synchronicities. 
How could our life turn out better than we could possibly imagine? 
& What would it take?
