For the first official release of 2015 Wonder Stories is excited to present AIMES' Harmonique Cosmique EP. Designed as a somewhat concept EP, it showcases one track made for four different types of dance floors.

Aimes - You Should Be Feeling Wonderful

Roam is named after the idea that Jason JP Peters musical taste simply roams around like a Roaman Soldier in the Roaman Colosseum in the ancient city state of Roam. Although none of that is true, it's a nice story and I suspect that some of you believe it.  For this release he calls first upon Aimes, a recent recruit to Ralph Lawson's 20/20 Vision as well as label boss in his own right of the US based Wonder Stories. 
In turn, Drum & Bass Enthusiast Steve Cook has been called in to remix, and although it doesn't reach the dizzying heights of 178 BPM, there is definitely a hint of the old skool in this one, a smidge of breakbeat and what might be a sample of Rob Base and EZ Rock ducking beneath a techy groove waiting to jump out at the more haggard clubber at 4am.  Roam has gained attention from DJs ranging from the Hacker to Massimiliano Pagliara, which isn't the main reason this track is definitely due some airtime, but I suspect it will help.

PRÈMIÉRE: AIMES - Machination (Lauer's Pig Trance Remix) [Roam]

Wonder Stories label boss AIMES returns to Roam Recordings with two new originals that form the Devious Maneuvers EP. AIMES has been delivering outstanding releases that span psychedelic, new-wave, italo, and cosmic disco across several imprints including 20:20 Vision, Spa in Disco, and Nang. For this release AIMES delivers two exceptional synth driven works. The title track, Devious Maneuvers, is a driving pulsating tune with maintime energy. Machination in contrast flips the mood into deeper territory with dreamy elements and swooning electronics.

The EP is backed by two excellent remixes. English producer Steve Cook takes on Devious Maneuvers with a rugged version for when the mood calls for something tough. Rounding out the EP is Lauer - Roam Alumni and half of Tuff City Kids and Black Spuma - who weaves classic trance elements into Machination while still keeping the sophisticated vibe of the original.

All four tracks work together to form a well rounded EP perfect for a variety of discerning dance floors.
