Pretty Girls Make Me Nervous

I'm the 9th child of 10 children and I grew up on the South Side (Roseland area) of Chicago. In our household, expressing our feelings and showing any type of emotion was considered a weakness. So I found an outlet with music at the young age of 9-years-old. Writing was the only way I knew how to express myself.



For me, Aina Brei'yon represents freedom. Freedom of being who you are and expressing what you're feeling at that moment without worrying about the next moment. Being raw and honest about who you are at that very moment and owning it!



Aina Brei'yon embodies the many levels of BEING who you are; freely.
