Last Saturday, 05/25, I had the opportunity to develop one of my DJ sets called 'Vanishing Point, music to fade away', within the installation 'Round Sky and Square Earth (天圆地⽅)' in front of an attentive audience, given over to listening. The installation and its title seemed to me like the setting for a lyrical, mysterious and delicate fairy tale. (More info below)

The installation that puts the work of Yu Depeng and Lucía Loren in dialogue, curated by Mateo Feijóo, with the participation of the collective Habitar el Esparto and Josephine’ Soundscapes.

Starting from the singularity of traditional Chinese thought as an alternative for social and environmental sustainability, which Yu Depeng proposes, Mateo Feijóo imagines a collage in which several views are superimposed.

The proposal enters into dialogue with the Clima Fitness installation, which currently occupies the Intermediae space, to imagine an ancestral gym where to experience collaboration networks based on social and environmental sustainability.

Mostra is a project that comes straight from the heart. An independent, small-format festival of avant-garde and experimental electronic music which emerges as a counterpoint to the macro-festivals and the overcrowded, commercial and rather impersonal offerings of other large events held in Barcelona.

Mostra's third edition took place between the 28th and 31st March. Aina Climent's two hours set opened the festival on the first day of performances at Hangar, a day dedicated to the more horizontal musical proposals and cutting-edge sounds within the four days festival celebrated.

For this one, meet T.Modet, aka Lydia Gonzalez, whose music collection spans a vast spectrum of styles, offering endless possibilities. T.Modet's eclectic sets begin at a slow, warm tempo and then take the audience over the top with sharper, more somber beats. Lydia's profound connection with music wasforged during her global travels from a young age, drawing inspiration from the world's primitive sounds. In Seville, she delved into flamenco, rock, folk, and soundtracks, expanding into electrified realms like tech break, house, electro, Balearic, downtempo, and breakbeat during her teen years.

Mostra is a cultural proposal for the city of Barcelona that includes an electronic music festival and many other parallel activities all through the year. For their first show, Foggy Hex founding member Taki Onqoy takes over the first hour with a selection of leftfield pop, dubwise rhythms, and left-of-centre sounds from bands and labels resonating across the Península Ibérica.
