Desert Dwellers were extremely honored to open for one of their favorite artists Shpongle (Simon Posford) for a 7 week tour in early 2014 called The Museum of Consciousness Tour. Consisting of 42 gigs around the United States, the combo of Desert Dwellers and Shponlge turned out to be a very powerful show. This particular Desert Dwellers set was the live unedited recording of the show in Lafayette on March 27th, where some mega fans were tearing it up in the dancefloor. Big thanks to Simon, Zebbler, Ben, Hippie, and Pete for such an epic tour!

This is the result.

Laying in the snow, nearing the end of a long evening of playing in a blizzard. My young body is tired, but my mind seeks more. For the first time in my life I notice the silence that the snow provides. The frozen insulation dampens the amplitude of my thoughts, just as is quiets the night.  I feel tapped into the universe on a deeper level, perhaps the deepest I had ever felt at that point in my young life.  I feel as though I discovered a secret on my own. This sacred silence is mine to carry with me. This new vastness is my blank canvas upon which I will learn to transcribe my magic.
