The greek artist Aiora has released on labels like PFL, Existence and Timewarp as well as on Ritchie Hawtins Minus Records after winning a remix competition for one of Hawtins songs.
Besides his musical career the Crete born music producer is running the stylish cocktail bar Kolokotroni 9 in Athens, hosting live Dj sets every other day.

Despite being essential to life on Earth, the magnetic field isn’t something we can actually see in itself, or ever hear. But, remarkably, scientists at the Technical University of Denmark have taken magnetic signals measured by ESA’s Swarm satellite mission and converted them into sound – and for something that protects us, the result is pretty scary.

Aiora has been producing music since 2002 & has been DJ-ing for more than a decade. With a plethora of releases under his belt, he has released music on Timewarp and PFL records including tracks supported by Pete Tong and has had his work included on the Watergate compilation, BBC radio 1. Past achievements was winning the competition for Richie Hawtin's (altergo Plastikman) remix for Minus records. ”Aiora can effortlessly glide from electronica and ambient vibes to darker phat techno, proving his musical worth.

In January I recorded a DJ mix for the great website "A Strangely Isolated Place" ( http://astrangelyisolatedplace.com ). The mix turned into a deep and emotional journey reaching from ambient to slow techno and electronica. If you're up for a deep journey I highly recommend it ... And as always; a lot of music from me in the mix; this time mostly Wa Wu We and Ooze music ... Both released and unreleased.

Greek born 'Dimitris Giakoumakis' aka 'Aiora' has been DJ-ing for a decade, and has been producing for many years. He produces and performs music for for theatres, a rare talent with musical diversity.
