A Strange Wedding - Sailing On Neptune's Diamond Lakes

At dusk, they were here. Spreading their heady perfume up to my room, hundreds of white flowers. It came by the window, without even knocking as it was open.
After resting in the air a few hours along with the moonlight, the fragrance was gone by dawn.
I hope the jasmine blossoms will be back tonight, I’ll try to pluck them by stretching the arm.

Nous vous quittons donc brièvement avec cet enregistrement pensé par @rene-danger. Cet artiste d’origine bretonne officie au sein du collectif @la-boucle-1 ainsi que sur la radio FM expérimentale et éphémère @ondorphine. Parallèlement, il prend soin d’imaginer des artefacts sonores sortant sur son label @edidentites co-geré avec @juna_xxl. 

Durant une heure, entre field recording et tracks unreleased de juna xxl, Amelove, Funk Master Bapt et lui-même, René Danger nous propose une randonnée auditive de la rivière à l’océan, le vent dans les cheveux, entre 2 festivals d’été.

Aïra is the fruit of the alliance between several DJs and producers from Toulouse who are already involved in the local music scene, and from their meeting was born the shimmering desire to propose an alternative musical experience to clubbing, to focus instead on the creation of moments of softness, of slowness, a cocoon to gather, to wander and to find appeasement thanks to the music.
Aïra was conceived as a free space, where music would be sacred and contemplation its most beautiful offering. The collective open the doors of imagination one by one and wanna prove that sharing is the key to all possibilities

First, we introduced you the work of Lys, a french composer of electronic music. She's an organ player, dj and she produces music with electronic devices. The first peaces was  "Etude une" & "Aventure d'une promenade." Both of these electroacoustic songs arecomposed in 2018 for her class at the Toulouse Conservatory.  
"Etude Une"
It's a short study, elaborated only from concrete sounds recorded in studio with simple metallic objects: a triangle, a stainless steel salad bowl, a Tibetan bowl, marbles, a metal rod and a ventilation grid among others... This piece is built on 2 tracks, where the sound objects alternate, on very short or longer durations. The work show the symbiosis of the rhythmic games, spatialization and volumes.

"Aventure d'une promenade"
This second piece, longer, is an invitation to a walk in a fantastic world where we follow the granular speech of a sound object between fauna noises and he vagaries of the weather.
After these two pieces, she delivered us a djset of one hour of songs that describe a part of her universe.

Amelo from the radio collective ondorphine offered us an escape with varied sounds. From vaporous music to folk melodies, passing by jazz and experimental pop rhythms, Amelo invited us  to travel with her through this mix

After this set, we heard the work of Jan Loup. She composed this piece called Rising artificial sun by the afternoon. She created this piece during the lockdown in France and release it on the box of the collective Girls don't cry from toulouse.

The work of Jan Loup was followed by an original composition from UNDER/STANDING. This piece is a patchwork of his unrealesed tracks during the past two years. You can hear a 20 minutes recorded live session with additionnal songs : another ambient track from his past work and a post-rock song. It feels like his work is full of melancholy, empathy and will to find the beauty of the world.

After the work of Johanna OJ, you heard a mix from Khey Mysterio, recorded at Dixmontel fest this summer for the ondorphine stage, a radio collective from France. The purpose of this set is an imaginary and revisited soundtrack of blade runner with some sentences that Khey Mysterio took from the book in french version. During the set, he spells the words of the book, and invite us to think about the link between the man and the machine "les androides rêvent ils de moutons électriques?". He also describes what a dystopia look alike.

You now see how the human spirit can find the truth in the night. Just follow the light, don't be afraid to face the Darkness. The rest of this journey move between esoterism, tales about the moon and the sun, the searching of light in the past (with "les symphonies des lumières" of Les Joyaux de la princesse) and the movements of shadows.

Pushing the borders to the core, in between cosmic trance, hollow ambient and industrial reminiscences, everything tends to an unholly horizon, drown in myst, lightened by the fuel of late-day parties, a recipe rarely seen before for hardcore dreamers of all around the void.

Me voilà en face d'une maison vide au pied d'une colline et au bord d'un fleuve, personne ne vit ici, pas même l'usine qui représente la nature morte de mes pêchés.
Aucun doute, le silence domine le règne animal et emporte avec lui le contraste que peuvent apporter des doutes sur un ciel couleur Chagall.
Mais ces doutes ne lissent pas les sentiments. Comme une montagne, la maison s'écroule pour en bâtir de nouvelles, et découvre ses traits de caractère au fur et à mesure que le temps l'embrasse.

@fiverituals has its own history and prologue, but mostly a story about two minds coming together and accepting the one.

Andrius Grinevskis (@auren1)and Deividas Jaroška (@jaroska)present their debut album as Five Rituals, delivering a project that is both musically diverse and environmentally conscious. Released via Ledotmat Musique, ‘V Rituals’ brings together a broad range of influences including dubstep, breaks, jazz, ambient and field recordings.
Five Rituals creates music that works in all settings and transcends genres. Their openness to a wide range of sound is what has both made them a widely loved favorite, but also someone who operates in their own parallel musical world.
