A re-release of my first ever project. I can't find the original album art, but someone asked for it and thought, since a new album is coming, I might as well make this old one available. the growth is cool to see.

I don't think this is the original tracklisting either, but I can't remember what it was. All the same, please enjoy. I think the original release date was some time in 2012 or 2013. I used bandcamp. I remember taking it down. Wish I hadn't though. anyone else out there who's thinking of purging, don't. Just put it on private. This art is our memory, among other things.

Divesting From Despair: Building a Liberatory Movement Media Ecosystem

The last few years of political turmoil have unearthed the longstanding lack of public trust in the news media.  As journalists who work in, outside and against legacy media, we will facilitate space for attendees to learn about the long and deep legacy of movement journalism that undermines the belief that objectivity and government sourcing are signs of quality and expands transformative, abolitionist, and antiracist movement building through truthful reporting.

Movement Journalism And The Fall Of Legacy Media

Ravyn Lenae makes elegant music. The ChiArts High School student released Moon Shoes, an EP largely produced by 20 year-old Monte Booker, a couple months ago, and the eight-song project has been an AirGo favorite since it dropped. Her elegant writing fits Monte's production so well that Chicago heavyweight Saba said, "Ravyn and Monte together [are] damn near the best collab in music.” She swings by the WHPK studio to talk that collab, high school life, and more.
