After years in the making, we are beyond excited to unveil one of the most anticipated releases in the history of Universal Tribe Records — a project that pays tribute to the legacy of a modern classic while breathing new life into its story.

Originally sparked during Freedom Fighters’ debut tour of Australia, Australiens quickly evolved into an iconic collaboration with progressive techno powerhouses Martin Vice & Michael Banel (MVMB). The track was later released in 2016 as part of MVMB’s debut album on Iboga Records, capturing a moment in time that merged the raw, open energy of the Australian scene with an international touch of cinematic psychedelia.

Now, nine years on, we’ve been granted the rare opportunity to reimagine this masterpiece with a signature Universal Tribe twist. What has emerged is a remix compilation that honours the past while surging forward — a curated celebration of Bush Prog brought to life by some of Australia’s most respected pioneers and the next generation of sonic storytellers — artists known for delivering the finest sounds our scene has to offer.

Featuring transformative remixes by Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Scionaugh, and Doonz, this release brings a fresh, driving perspective to a timeless track — layered, deep, and completely dialled in to the unique rhythm of the Australian bush.

La dupla osa777 y IAM LILITH inaugura su debut en Symmetric Records con Shelter, un corte que da nombre al EP y que marca un statement claro: techno progresivo con enfoque melódico y tensión de pista.

El track arranca con un beat sólido, empujado por un bajo profundo que sostiene el armazón rítmico. La progresión armónica —con acordes en loop constante— establece un colchón emocional donde el sintetizador principal despliega una melodía directa y altamente recordable. Airi is Felix A., a half Swiss/Japanese producer, currently residing in Tokyo, Japan. Having worked with electronic music since 2004, he has found a real passion in his expression through psychedelic music. He has had a musical education and has been a violinist since his childhood, as which he also used to play in the orchestra. Over the years he has developed his very own remarkable style of music, characterized by expressive sound design, massive basses and thoughtful atmospheres. Having rocked countless dance floors in more than 20 countries, he never ceases to surprise his public with his powerful and intelligent signature sound. He played in some big international festivals including Universo Parallelo 2019, 2024 (Brazil), Hadra Festival 2018, 2024 (France), Modem Festival 2016, 23 (Croatia), Dragon Dreaming Festival 2018 (Australia), One Love Festival 2019 (Switzerland), Wonderland Festival 2024 (Germany), Ozora Festival 2023 (Hungary) In 2016 he signed on the internationally acclaimed label 'Zenon Records'. Watch out for this artist since he will keep innovating the genre for years to come.
