I dreamed of composing a song like this and today it became reality.

SYNTHESIS ft. Po-uta

This is a mashup of "Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites" and "First Of The Year (Equinox)" by Skrillex. With a close tone and tempo, I manage to put their melody in each ear. I am not satisfied with the technical result but I enjoyed the harmonic result. Enjoy ! :3

My last work that could apply to Monstercat or NCS. A mix of classical and electro with a trap touch. This my best work so far : technic, harmony, emotion. However the result may be a bit too full. A beautiful introduction into a new world : Undertale. The best known game of 2016 by it refreshing universe, enjoyable gameplay and one of the greatest game soundtrack. SPOILER ALERT / If you don't know who is Myla and you want to listen to this song, let me tell you the moving story of Myla, a cheerful miner insect, from the game Hollow Knight (You can read this by listening the song) :

You are a knight insect. Going through a path, you hear someone singing in a cave. You meet her breaking stones with a pickaxe, singing a rhyme from childhood. In a world hit by a plague that turns people into ferocious beasts, with few conscious person, it is a joy to meet a friendly person. But you must go in order to fight this plague. Even going, she begins singing all by herself, without any audience.

From time to time, you go back through the mines path. you took the opportunity to go see Myla, still undermining. She is glad that you go back to say hello. She suggests you take a pickaxe to go dig with her to find gems. Seeing her working, you listen to the same rhyme that lulled the childhood of the young insects of Hallowest. You decide to be a spectator of her concert.

You can also imagine that the story is told by two bards : Tae and Geuk, who sing and play the mandolin and the lute.

SPOILER : When you hear that the music becomes glaucous, listen at this moment (at 2:00) :

The plague is anchored in the underground walls. You think of Myla who is still in the mining caves. You dare to find her. The sounds of the peaks guide you but you do not hear any more singing. When you arrive, you understand that it is too late : The plague had begun to attack Myla. She continues the rhyme but moaning. You gently approach her, patting her shoulder but no answer. You're disoriented, you don't know what to do. You try to pull her to take her to the surface. Suddenly, she shows signs of aggressiveness by throwing her pick in your direction. Given the situation, you know that there is only one thing left to do : fight.

You stay on the defensive, you don't want to hurt her. you look for a solution to take her to the surface but the ferocity of the hits doesn't give you any respite. With the dreams nail, you try to read in these thoughts : The same song but no longer sings. After moving away from her, you realize that there is no solution. She is left to her fate. By charging your shot, you decide to make a choice : shorten its suffering. A last cry rings in the caves.

You recover your spirit, the sounds of the caves invade the atmosphere. You find Myla's body lifeless. You leave...

The first thing you can think of that is : OMG DIS IS SO SAD. But We can see something else : before killing her, you also took the life of many infected before. It makes you realize that before they were ferocious beasts, they all had a life, a passion, a goal. Whether it is to kill zombies, evil or infected, it is necessary to respect the lives of these people and not a reason to satisfy impulses. Life is too precious to be taken away so easily. It has been given to us, we must not waste it.


If you've gone this far, bravo ! I hope you enjoyed this experience to the feel train. I wanted to share my feeling of the best game I've played this year and one the most beautiful soundtrack by creating a musical fan art.

This is an original composition based on sfx of the game, ukuleles, my deep voice, additional instruments, inspiration from Hollow Knight's main theme and of course the sing of Myla from @Paper_Rabbits. :3

J'ai décidé de reprendre celle de Salope !, un titre sous-côté de l'album mais qui mélange la musique classique, un rap acapella et de fortes émotions. A cover that I wanted to play for a long time. Something that transcends generations, something that a lot of people might like. If you know this song from the album "Melody of certain damaged lemons" by Blonde Redhead or from the science-fiction sitcom "Rick and Morty". There is in this song something timeless, inexplicable, strong. And this is the reason for my choice.

Here my brand new cover ! Something really different but surprisingly finished. Among the greatest science fiction films that revolutionized our generation and the greatest music from Rob Dougan, I could not miss "Matrix - Clubbed to Death". Over 6 differents tracks, 2 per ears and 2 in the middle. Over 300 recordings to finish the projet and a huge audio mixing, including spacialization, reverse sound, quarter of a tone detune, octave transposition for bass, reverb, compression and Equalization. I didn't use the flanger to not further distort the sound. I rubbed the pick along the string for this effect.

All this to be as faithful as possible to the song by only using a Tenor Ukulele.

Finally, I'm back with a project similar to the Lady Gaga Medley. Which band that rocked our childhood use the popular four chords with the vi-IV-I-V chord progression ? This is my anwser : Linkin Park. I didn't have time to produce a clean tribute to Chester Bennington. Guess I had to wait 5 months to finally bring this marvelous Medley : The best song from their first 3 albums : Krwlng, Crawling and Numb. I also love Living Things so maybe I could made another Medley with this album. Hope you'll enjoy this as I enjoyed playing it. Please share at Linkin Park fans to remind the greatest band of our childhood.

Since the chord progression is quite easy (C/Am/F/G), I decided to play in the same time the chord and the melody. Definitely impossible in one-shot but was fun to play and the result is quite homogeneous. Enjoy ! ♫

FR : Réalisé en un jour pour combler le manque de contenu. Les prochaines semaines attendez-vous à du bon son Français : Eddy de Pretto et Stromae !

Vu que la grille d'accords et plutôt simple (Do/Lam/Fa/Sol), j'ai décidé de jouer en même temps les accords et la mélodie. Définitivement impossible en one-shot mais c'était fun à jouer et le résultat est plutôt homogène. Bonne écoute ! ♫
