“Even Model 500 stuff, right from the beginning, all kind of talks about, in a way, some of the vocals and some of the songs definitely have this sci-fi vibe to them where he wants to get out of Motor City, and he wants to go to space.”

“When parties were happening in Detroit in the 90s and early 2000s, you had no idea what this address was. You had no idea what this building was, and it was constantly a new experience and that triggered some excitement every time you were going out — even if it’s the same DJs.”

Eric @Cloutier is a DJ, producer, and label boss, born and raised in Detroit, where a longing for an escape from every day life fueled the city's music scene and rave culture. Eric moved to New York in the 2000s, where he became a resident at @TheBunkerNY. Now based in Berlin, Eric is adjusting to life and music in a city where absolutely anything goes.
