Marbs is a co-founder of the Desert Hearts Community and a papa bear to the festival crew that has become a defining staple to the Southern California underground scene. He and Evan Casey, launched the Desert Hearts Black label in 2019, to champion music from the dark, textured techno landscape that these two have been spinning for years at the annual Desert Hearts Festival and their globally renowned parties. 

Marbs' Perspectives mix exudes a sound that floats on psychedelic currents, treading at high speeds along thick basslines and futuristic sound effects, all coming together to capture a refined techno aesthetic that burrows listeners deep into the underground.

Since first emerging on the scene, Mark Lizaola has continually proven time and time again that he is passionate about dance music and rave culture as a whole. Over the years he's dropped some absolute jams while also spinning sets at festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Nocturnal Wonderland, and Camp Trip. But his dedication doesn't stop there as he's created his own events, worked behind the scenes to make sure festivals run smoothly, and continued to find new ways to support the underground scene as well.

While last year dashed plans for everyone, Mark Lizaola pressed on. With festivals paused for the foreseeable future he looked to his skills beyond music to launch Lizaola Crafted, a new venture centered around custom-crafted studio desks that have the necessities for creatives in mind. He also became a frequent face on the livestreaming front with his bi-weekly show Local Nature on EDMIDtv, and worked countless hours during Insomniac's Virtual Rave-A-Thons as well.

Now, with the new year in full swing, Mark Lizaola is looking to get everyone grooving to the beat. He's curated an hour-long mix that's filled with plenty of house heaters with a touch of Latin flair, along with some jams that will take you back in time. Perfect for those afterhours we all sorely miss, if this mix is any indication of what's to come from the mind of Mark Lizaola in 2021 then strap in and stay locked because great things are on the horizon.
