Die Leipzigerin Amy aka ttyfal ist einer dieser Vollblut Clubkultur Aktivistinnen — Neben dem Auflegen organisiert Sie eigene Veranstaltungen, zum Beispiel über @inputifz, schreibt Rezensionen, Ausgehtipps und über die Clubkultur bei @frohfroh und seit neustem produziert sie auch eigene Tracks.

Im Interview haben wir darüber gesprochen wie Sie über Outdoor Raves und befreundete DJs zum Auflegen kam, wie ein Track vom Label @csvoyager ihren Musikgeschmack geprägt hat und darüber was das auflegen mit Vinyl so besonders macht. Und sie hat uns erzählt wie aus einer Ableton-Lern-Session ihr erster Track mit @chocolategrinder entstanden ist, der jetzt vor zwei Wochen auf der @vaertism-leipzig Compilation erschienen ist.

Radio Show 065 w/ @transluciddream (Myriad Records / mjut, Leipzig)

Diesmal haben wir uns mit Markus aka Translucid unter anderem über das Produzieren von Musik und sein Verständnis von Kreativität, über seine musikalische Entwicklung und das Auflegen diverser Genres, aber auch über seine Rolle im Leipziger Club @mjutme gesprochen.

Er hat uns erzählt, wie das Jammen mit seinem Vater und das Jugendorchester ihn früh geprägt haben, wie er dann mit Cubase angefangen hat Tracks zu covern und wie all das ihm heute das Produzieren erleichtert. Es ging zudem um Field Recordings, die Entstehung seines Debüt-Albums und des Labels @myriad00 Records und um luzide Träume und Chaosmagie.

Außerdem hat er uns erzählt wie er vor einigen Jahren per Zufall bei der Entstehung des mjut dabei war und was von dem Club in Zukunft zu erwarten ist. Dazu gibt's unreleaste Musik von ihm, Tracks von Fin Glaeser and @mruffing die bald auf Myriad Records erscheinen und ein Track von @deliansound.

We're back! Nach einem halben Jahr Pause sind wir endlich wieder zurück mit unserer monatlichen Show bei Radio Blau. 2022 wird unsere Show wieder mehr »Radio«. Das bedeutet mehr Musik, mehr Themen, mehr live und spontan, eben wieder mehr Radio im eigentlichen Sinne.

Diesmal hat uns @porterbrook  erzählt wie sein erster Eindruck vom  »www.neuewelt.club« ist und wie es aktuell mit Clubbing in UK aussieht. Mit @zouj-music haben wir über Touring in 2021, die Resonanz auf sein Debüt-Mixtape und seine Pläne für 2022 gesprochen. @olivia_facci hat uns erzählt wie ihr erstes Album entstanden ist und warum sie auf Deutsch aber auch auf Spanisch rappt und @farbian-driven hat  uns das Phänomen Turnstile nahe gebracht.

We are proud to present our next release, Lemma2! 

As a true lemma it both stands on its own and supports the larger theorem: to explore bass heavy music across a span of tempos and time signatures. Lemma2 goes deeper into the ideas presented in Lemma1, this time drawing inspiration from DnB, Dubstep, and Footwork. The result being a collection of sprawling 160BPM polyrhythmic rollers.

Side A ventures into sound design, mangling field recordings collected on travels far and beyond into almost unrecognizable shapes. Side B takes on a more percussive tip, driving for the dance floor with some stepping d&b-not-d&b business and footwork interpretations.

Nahuel aka @jaguarchs es un DJ nacido en Argentina aunque criado en Valencia, digger de estilos como el IDM, breakbeat y techno; habitual de la tienda de discos y su lugar favorito de encuentro, Killing Time, situado en el corazón de la ciudad. miembro de un disperso colectivo llamado @mamvt.electronics y que podrás encontrar el 27 de este mes en su hábitat natural, el Killing, disfrutando de la mejor cabina de la ciudad.

el mix trata de condensar en una hora diferentes fases y velocidades enfocadas a la diversión y la pista, empezando por ritmos propios del dubstep, donde ha querido recoger algunos de sus artistas favoritxs del género.

tras acabar esa fase más dubby, abre camino al techno que conecta con la parte del mix más frenética, hasta alcanzar los 155 bpm. aquí encontraremos un breakbeat más ofuscado, junto con una buena dosis de bass y ritmos intrínsecos de UK que se acercan al d&b.

born in Argentina but raised in Valencia, Nahuel aka @jaguarchs is an avid digger of genres such as IDM, breakbeat, and techno, and a regular at Killing Time - everyone’s favourite record shop and meeting place. he is also a member of @mamvt.electronics collective, who you can find playing Killing on the 27th of this month, in the best booth in the city. 

this mix tries to condense different sections and bpms into a fluid hour, with a nod to the fun that comes with being on the dancefloor. it begins with dubstep rhythms, presenting some of his favourite artists of the genre, and moving from dubby to techno, where this section is filled with 140-155 heaters. here, Nahuel treats us to some hazy breakbeat, with a dose of bass and intricate rhythms inspired by UK drum & bass.

Everything Merged Vol 1

‘Everything Merged’ is 3024’s second series of compilations featuring artists from the 3024 Mentoring Program. At the beginning of the pandemic, label owner Martyn started forming a lively online community of artists, providing them with ideas and inspiration. This community grew larger and larger, and musicians started to connect both online and offline, across continents and genres. It resulted in the “It Was Always There” series of compilations from 2021, and countless independent releases, radio appearances and gigs, putting a host of artists on the map.

Working on the program made Martyn and partner Jeroen Erosie reconsider the purpose of running a record label in 2022. ‘Are we still interested in putting out records via the usual channels?’ Or should a label become more of an umbrella for various activities by a larger community, both online and IRL, with digital and physical products, in other words merge everything into one.

“Everything Merged vol. 1” features the awesome music of a group of 3024 alumni from across the globe, interpreting the post-pandemic phase of electronic music each in their individual ways. There are the contemporary percussive meditations of Adam 2, Solair, Klont and Brooklynite No Sir, the 90s garage and rave inspired music of Karis, Agôn, Slovenia’s Hatterri and Noise Casino from Colombia. The exuberant technicolorist bangers of Guava, Blu-e and Cress and the deep hypnotic explorations of India’s Chhabb, MarceauxMarceaux and The Exhausted.
