Big Honey is active in the Leipzig music scene since over 10 years and part of the @institut-fuer-zukunft booking team since a couple of months. While shaping the future sound of the club and absorbing ideas and inspiration, he has also been exploring new sounds and genres himself over the past few months. For this one, we had the pleasure of welcoming two of Sheffield's most infamous to the studio for a b2b.

@porterbrook doesn't need much introduction, as he was not only a guest on the show in 2021, but also a frequent visitor to the studio when he lived in Leipzig. To mention a few facts anyway:

Residencies at @hope-works and No Bounds Festival, releases on Sheffield’s cult label @groundworksound, followed by EPs on @electromngr and @alwootton's  @trulerecords, plus gigs in venues like The White Hotel.

Excited to welcome him back behind the decks, and even more so because he brought a good friend with him. @james-westfall-947555286 is resident on Sheffield's @mondoradioo and organises DIY parties in the Sheffield and Manchester underground.

In the two hours, they played their way through many different rhythms and tempos of Bass Music, or as they phrased it "something like shellers".

Omit Salem is part of the Callshop crew and co-host of the EJ Mañana Morningshow. Coming from Frankfurt, now based in Dresden and soon to be in Berlin. 

Beeing musically very versatile, he is not only a very good morning show host but also a great club DJ. For this show we played lots of percussive stuff, some dubby bass music and a few brand new club edits.
