completely unsampled. no seriously try and shazam this, it wont pull up anything. not im proud or something. should i be proud? does it matter if a song uses a sample? does that make it better? does it make it more genuine? more cool? i dont care as a listener. well maybe i do. I found out that track by toyota corola 2008 or whatever is actually the eshop music from the 3DS instead of being made by them. I mean i figured it was sampled but still I was like "aw dang I thought they were cool like that". but I still like their mix more. its like slowed down and lofi and stuff, but I guess the original author should get props or something. like it feels like they're trying to hide the fact that its a sample. I think thats what bugs me is when someone uses a sample and pretends like its their own thing or they dont want people to know the sample. Like if the sample is used well then you shouldnt care cause it'll be its own thing. but i guess its also in the veign of vaprowave where its just kinda implied that its a sample. vaporwave artists seem chill as hell. but anyways i guess using a sample just adds something to the mix thats odd. I mean i didn't synthesize and record the drums on this so there's something deeper than that to analyze, but my fingers are getting tired of typing so maybe ill analyze that later. have a great day.
