The Smirnoff Sound Collective is a global initiative celebrating diversity and inclusivity in electronic music. In the winter of 2016, Cry Baby, along with other members of the collective and key industry mentors, were brought together for a creative retreat in the foothills of the Catskills mountains in upstate New York. Inspired by her artist peers and​ ​mentors, Cry Baby created the haunting and powerful techno tune called 'Roses are Dead', which also marks the third release from the Smirnoff Sound Collective. Importantly, the track also marks the launch of Cry Baby's FM ELLE imprint, a label dedicated to celebrating female talent, and is out on June 13.
