Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

And so we started out into the night, down towards the waterfront where there was the sound of music and shouts and drunken oaths, he was talking quietly all the while about this and that, about a girl he had fallen in love with. From that he switched back to the Baron de Charlus and then to Kurtz who had gone up the river and got lost. His favorite theme. I liked the way he moved against this background of literature continuously; it was like a millionaire who never stepped out of his Rolls Royce. There was no intermediate realm for him between reality and ideas. When we entered the whorehouse on the Quai Voltaire, after he had flung himself on the divan and rung for girls and for drinks, he was still paddling up the river with Kurtz, and only when the girls had flopped on the bed beside him and stuffed his mouth with kisses did he cease his divagations. Ka:lu escaped from the empty land with his Arp and took the nowhere’s road. This is his second offering for Shango Records. These tracks can teach you how to give beauty to the people. Kaöb, DIBIDABO, AmuAmu, Chomba and Zuma Dionys are giving love and beauty and warm feelings in their own unique way.

Hamburg‘s Ryan Haeng is debuting on Heimlich Musik for the label‘s 22nd release, marking the producer‘s first-ever full-length EP. Get ready for five massive original cuts, plus remixes by Metatext & Karhua, Zoe Reijue, and Heimlich Musik veteran AVEM. 
The original cuts come with punchy bass drums and lurking basslines, giving new meaning to the word ‚dark‘. On the top end of the sonic spectrum, Ryan Haeng adds arpeggios, eclectic pads, and detuned synths for a unique touch, sprinkled with recorded instrumental samples.
Metatext & Karhua’s extended remix of ‚Bieroase‘ emphasizes the original‘s hyp-notic side with melancholic keys as the track‘s centerpiece, while Zoe Reijue’s interpretation of ‚Seidl‘ is built on powerful drums embedded in organic percussi-onwork and playful synth snippets. AVEM’s acid-inspired remix of ‚Raumschiff auf Rast‘ convinces with an intense build-up leading into a satisfying climax, combi-ning his unique trademark grooves with an underlying massive bassline const-ruct. mit regen am horizont und beaufort auf neun erspäht operator_a ein trockenes eiland in ihrem fernrohr. entschlossen greift sie ans ruder und ordert den landgang ihrer feliden reisegruppe, während smutje in der kombüse dem rauhen seegang trotzt - chaotisch zwischen herd und regalen umherschwirrt - und die letzten zutaten noch schnell in seine digitale tasche steckt.

gegen 29 uhr, endlich am fuße des monte rondello angekommen, warten schon nafaka & lipo gespannt am wärmenden feuer. gemeinsam wird an den töpfen gerührt und gestampft - hier noch schnell eine prise orient, da noch etwas zimt, dort eine spur kosmischer energie -  gerührt, gestampft, gerührt, gestampft, - ein hauch von schweiß in der luft und "hex hex", fertig war der heiße 1topf.

vielen dank an alle katzen, kosmonaut*innen und raver*innen für den gemeinsamen urlaub und das abriss-ski im rondello. tausend dank an alle freund*innen und helfer*innen, die den schnurrlaub erst möglich gemacht haben. <3

Russian duo Doyeq return to Kiosk ID with Sequence 8—a radiant three-tracker that navigates the edges of groove and abstraction, diving deep into three distinct soundscapes. Doyeq open their EP with Sequence 8 and its vast, maximalist orchestra of shimmering arpeggios and warm, enveloping saws. Drawing its power from the hypnotic interplay of shifting tones, textures, and timbres, the track offers a masterclass in harmonic layering—ornate yet feather-light, powerfully maximal yet enrapturing and approachable. Where Sequence 8 is lush and melodically opulent, Broken Space pulls its complexity from a searing found-sound-inspired array of sizzles, lasers, and impacts.
