Sound Avenue’s second offering of 2020 finds Pedro Capelossi returning for his first solo EP. From progressive minded roots, Pedro’s sound evolved with deeper, more organic sensibilities. This new sonic approach has already landed the Brazilian born, Barcelona based artist releases via Pablo Bolivar’s Seven Villas, Dream Culture, RYNTH and The Purr.

Beginning what promises to be a fruitful year, Pedro presents the late-night sensibilities of ‘So Long’. Captivating from the start, it’s perfectly sculpted beats are warm and powerful, anchoring what is a chunky yet fluid foundation. Crafted with precision and care, layers of hypnotic percussion are blanketed with textural drifts and misty pads. Intrigue peaks as the main break unfolds, with hazy harmonic concepts and fuzzed out noise uniting for a smooth crescendo, before ushering in a groovy drop and hypnotic finale.
