I don't need big breaks in a big song with a buildup and lights and smoke.  Been there, done that, fuck all that; I don't need none of that shit, I just need some good music!

I got enough problems of my own man; with jobs, & people empowerment through community organizing ya know?  So when I do go out... I just wanna have a drink and just sit back, be myself, and nod my head to some good music!
  
Man, I don't want to be fucked, with, with all the lights, and dressing nice; I'm just a regular guy ya' know?  
Who walks into a club to hear a groove!  
I could give a fuck less about all those girls & guys over there; I've had them, man, all  different types; My life ain't gonna change tonight.  

I'm all about the music and groovin' with the people who listen to it..."
