This is a redux of my track from 2017, Neutrons, a remix of the movie Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (2001). Big thanks to BluJayMix for his interest in remastering the track. He really overhauled the track while keeping the same character. We both have given this track a much needed update. It's been great working with him on this track.

‘Help Us Find The Groove’ is a concept plunderphonics album in which the concept is in the title itself; What is my signature sound? 

It’s a personal expression of my experimentation of sampling from various different sources, but also sampling from my interest in improvisation and even some of my own recordings and previous tracks. Overall, it’s conveying the struggles of an artist finding their own sound, even if I’ve personally feel that I’ve found it!

Chiptunes = WIN is a blog (https://chiptuneswin.com/) that covers most of what falls under the "video game music" umbrella.  They release compilations of chiptune music selected out of submissions sent to them.  Then, for each main comp, they get a different record label or collective to release submissions that didn't make the original + some new songs from the collaborating label's musicians.  Since DESKPOP's roots are in chiptune, we were more than happy to participate!  This compilation is an excellent showcase of what VGM has been, and where it could go.  We have a free download on Bandcamp, with streaming on Spotify/etc soon.  Enjoy!
