This mix is an ode to the marvelous Linda Granger: An actress, singer and author. Had a hit 1970s television series, "VIP Lounge", in which she played Vickie Starr. Has a book entitled '"I'm Still Here: The Linda Granger Story", which documents her alcoholism, surviving cancer and 'personal misfortune'. Had a child, whom she gave up and then adopted named, Marmalade. She is also a recovering sex-addict. Her manager is Candy Casino (Seymour Cassel). 2021 Future Steps DJ Mix, for your mind body & spiritual soul ------

Back on the wheels, buttons and keys and delivering yet another quality mix of choice cuts, Dubbz comin’ back at ya once again!!  Continuing along the lines of the ‘LI9HT’ Mixseries [NI9HTLI9HT/DAYLI9HT], SAF3LI9HT was recorded on-and-off over the span of 14 months during the global Coronavirus pandemic.

During a time of questions and uncertain feelings, we were left with the feels of longing for the world – which we knew, once existed.  A main idea was to focus on subconsciously projecting each and every listener into this otherworldly realm.

Many emotions and flavors were captured and encapsulated into this 2+ hour long musical adventure.  Honing in on the vacancies, sorrows and self reflections that the many of us experienced over the past year, and from small subtle surprises.. Bits of s a f e l I g h t seemed to find a way to shine through.

By far this mix is one of the longest I’ve done to date, with a total of 51 hand-selected amazing tracks.  If you like what you hear, make sure to support these hard-working artists and remixers, without them – this mix would not be possible!

This mix is dedicated in memory of Jon Boston Papp, you will be missed my friend RIP XX00

In January 2017 5 Magazine asked readers to submit UK Garage & 2step mixes for publication in this issue.  They selected six of the best that came through for publication, made by DJ's across the world in a showcase that demonstrates the enduring appeal & staying power of UKG in the House Music scene, I was honored to be selected and featured.

My DJ mix: Futur3 of Now mix plays true homage to the sounds of 2step and 4x4 Garage by blending elements of heavy basslines, dreamy percussion, melodic organ stabs over snappy and upbeat vocals.

Growing very fond of disco and the influence that it has had on music even to this day .. this remix featured I feel not only captures the magic from the original version, but at the same time sets itself apart as a new idea on established concepts of everything else heard in between.  I feel that I can put together a dance track which is as good some of the best material that you can hear at clubs today (with all due respect to all fellow music makers and lovers abroad).  With a little help from my friends (wink wink Mr. One Egg Breakfast), and without further ado ~ from the mind of A. Dubbz, I bring you this tasty little treat from the vaults of my early music production back in 2003.  Sounding just as fresh as current dancefloor gems.. jam it, play it, spin it!

Been working on this mini for a while now, the theme across the entire mix ensemble was to layer and push each individual track to it's musical capacity by layering the prior tracks sampled snips throughout the mixed-into track.  Using a bit of mixing in keys along with a bit of back and forth with the selections, after a little bit of tweaking and freaking on the keys and levels - Limits was born.  Just enough to get you feeling the smooth grooves that are featured and lest enough to keep you wanting to press play again.  Remember kids - wash, rinse, flip and repeat!
