Shorter Days - my new EP, inspired by late summer and the change of the seasons.

This project is super special to me; a collection of tunes ranging from the last couple of months all the way back to three years ago. The running theme is the same: inspired by nature, cold weather, darker mornings and the mindset shift you experience this time of year.

Lots of jazz and lofi influence on this one, but still maintaining my favourite processes of self-sampling and building grooves that bring together a collage of different sounds.

I've done a self release for this bad boy since it just seemed right to me - these tunes are definitely made for the kitchen or the bus instead of the club.

This is one I’ve been sitting on for a wee while - it’s very chill, for me feels like something I’d slap on for a wee wander rather than a lot of my previous tunes which are more for the dancefloor. Definitely closer to some of my earlier releases way back when I first started making tunes. 

Firing it out as a self release, just felt like it made sense with this one - feels way less formal to me and been sitting on it long enough, thought it’s about time I just put it out there.
