Illustrious producer Albert Sterling Menendez, pka Sterling Ensemble adorns this debut track on Dopewax with short and lush sweet strings that seem to sing just as heavenly as the luscious Sara Devine does on this tune, with her delightfully inviting verses and next world harmonies. These original mixes also contain lively bouncing funky basslines, exemplary piano jazzy keys, 4/4 drums and other essential dance floor percussion. Making his sophomore appearance for the label, Pat Bedeau teams up with long time friend and singer Leon Dorrill who also made his debut on the label with the Rhemi boys in mid 2017. Cool, smooth chords, slick bass line and hyped up drums is the order of the day with this record as it sure does not disappoint. Leon drifts and glides on the record effortlessly without having to say much to fill every bar with vocal. Instead, a few choice words and an infectious melody is all that's needed to draw you in to the sonic funky sounds and before you know it you're up on the floor grooving away.
