In the past editions this stage was called Main. We consider that today it's totally inappropriate to divide musical genres on 'main' and 'alternative'. However new name doesn't change the fact that The Hive is the nucleus of Mo:Dem Festival. The place where nature, art, creativity, technology and the spirits of the forest meet to create ultimate dance space. The Hive will host wide range of top quality underground psychedelic artists from around the world delivering some of the finest sounds of the past and present, and showcasing some of the new fresh and unheard sounds of the future. Remolinos is a dip into the more refined, deeper, shamanic side of world bass music. This concoction includes cumbia, zouk, moombahton and baile funk with a darker touch sharing similarities with idm and techno. This mixtape includes new and old tracks from legends and upcomers such as Dengue Dengue Dengue, Cocotaxi, Animal Chuki, Chancha Via Circuito, Milangeles and Captain Planet. It also featuresthe exclusive debut of two Prisma tracks, one dark zouk syle, and one cumbia together with Fox Bolder.

Remolinos is also a tribute to the gifted curator, multi style genius Felipe Salmon from Dengue Dengue Dengue, a true tastemaker and connoisseur of rhythms and a big inspiration behind all my bass explorations.

This is a track from Ajja's first self-released chill album, recorded while traveling in Thailand in 2003 and at home in Switzerland in 2004.

The physical CDs were all made with an audio CDR recorder by Ajja & Tanina Munchkina and the covers were also printed at home and assembled by hand.

This version has been remastered in 2020 by Ajja.

Ajja is an eclectic and multi-talented Swiss artist who channels his creativity through parallel careers as musician, producer, label manager, graphic artist, software developer and painter.

Ajja played his first big psychedelic trance gathering in December 2002 on the main stage of the Outback Eclipse Festival in Australia, during a full solar eclipse.

In 2005, Ajja started a solo project under his own name. He quickly became known for delivering groovy psychedelic trance, crossing genres to attract people from a broad range of styles. His debut studio album “Psychogenica” was released  in 2007 on Syncronize Records, followed by “Tulpa” in 2012 on Peak Records and the mid-tempo album “Spira Mirabilis” in 2017 on T.I.P. Records.

Since 2006, Ajja has released over a hundred songs under various names, including many collaborations with other well-known musicians and producers, spanning a wide range of styles.

Although he has regularly performed at major events around the world and is used to a heavy touring schedule, he still enjoys small, intimate parties and clubs just as much.

An energetic, enthusiastic and gifted being, Ajja is an artist not to be missed!
